The first pages set the tone for the whole book...you can make wine (ferment) almost anything to make wine. I learned about Jack Keller from his wine web pages years ago. It was my go to when I needed to understand something about wine making. Now that Jack is no longer with us, I am so glad this book came out with his wisdom and common sense approach for making wine. I highly recommended this book to all my fellow wine makers older and younger. It is so clear to read and it doesn't 'talk down' to you. It is a book I would recommend to all winemaker of any experience - newbie or old-hand.
