Here is my impression of this product:Pros:-Price is very reasonable-This connects perfectly to my Surface Pro-It has nice features, including SD card reader and additional USB ports-Good external monitor integrationCons:-I haven't had any issues, however, it wouldn't take too much effort to snap and break this connector while connected into the computer. If you damage, the USB or Mini-Display Port connector it could be bad.Summary:This is a great product. I would say just be careful not to damage the connector, while it is connected to the computer.

The main reason I bought this card reader is for the long cable. All the other card readers are for laptops so their cables are short to sit next to a laptop. The longer cable allows me to plug it into the back of my desktop and leave it there. Not have it dangling from the front of my PC where it can be bumped and damaged. I use a desktop PC because I want to get some work done. I need a real video card and not a mini version like I get in a laptop.

its a good dock over all, but it could have been better if you are willing to spend a little more money and you could have more usb slot and other more slot such as Vga, Dp,ethernet and etc. This dock is light weight and can easily be carrying around with the surface. I don't use case for my surface so I don't have a problem plugging in this docking. Great and all, but wish it could have been cheaper.

I use this for my surface pro 6 and it works great! All ports are functioning well.

So glad I bought the hub in early March 2020. It’s been a lifesaver during coronavirus work from home. Best part is the HDMI connection for additional TV monitor.
