Definitely check this sunblock out!
This is an excellent and effective product! Definitely check this sunblock out! Non-Nano, no chemicals, and scent free so it's fantastic to wear if you have sensitivities. When first applied your skin will be tinted white from the zinc content, but it soon fades. If you sweat or you're in water, then yes, reapply periodically, as the product clearly states 80-minute water resistant. If you consider that as being inconvenient then reconsider what is in a lotion that sticks to your skin after it has been wet for extended periods! For someone who has worked outdoors for many years use of this product has actually cleared up much of that gritty, large-pore look to facial skin, and even toned some pigment. Since using it daily, the condition of skin which was scarred from Cryosurgery looks so much better. We were recommended this product by a natural health professional. Following extensive research on the safety of ingredients in many sunscreen products, this one comes out on top! So glad that Amazon has it available! We also received a professional followup email from 3rd Rock, confirming this is an excellent company offering a sound product.

I was looking for an everyday sunblock to protect my sun damaged skin. I am 55 and have done a lot of surfing. My skin looked bad after a surf trip this month so I started a skin care routine which includes this product and the nami emu oil. I love that this product is food grade as it feels very nice on the skin {un-like regular sunblock} A little bit goes a long way on the face and neck.I got a complement at work that my skin looked nice after first putting it on.It does not look greasy and the wax they add to it makes me feel moisturized/ protected against the elements. It is a little hard to rub in because of the zinc but I absolutely love this product and would like to thank the people who invented it!

my skin rejected
got this because it was all natural organic etc but made my face break out really bad. texture is horrible too. I wonder if i got one that went bad. It didnt smell the best, it looked discolored and texture was super grainy. I thought maybe it was because it was more natural. i was sad because it was so expensive and it def put a damper in my vacation. I had to throw away.

Happy first time user of 3rd Rock Sunblock
I purchased 3rd Rock Sunblock after reading a blog by James Templeton warning about the โchemical soup in sunscreenโ. After two surgeries in the last 10 years for basil cell carcinoma Iโm committed to wearing long sleeve shirts and pants and zinc oxide sunscreen products on my face and hands when playing golf. In the summer time my face would often turn red from being over heated. When I tried 3rd Rock Sunblock last week I was surprised my face remained cool. The thin and natural layer of coverage provided by 3rd Rock Sunblock allowed my skin to breathe! A benefit I didnโt expect but really appreciate. Also the layer I applied to my face and hands didnโt rub off or sweat into my eyes like other sunscreen products. I definitely recommend this product!

High quality, great for the environment and body! But, expensive per ounce.
This is a very high-quality sunscreen with no chemicals to damage coral or fish, which is why I bought it. It is not particularly oily nor thick like other mineral-based sunscreen. This sunscreen seems like it's good for your body and for the earth, and that impressed me!That said, it is suuupppper expensive. I bought this really quickly and didn't think about how small 3 oz is. It's small, guys. Did you know you're supposed to use one ounce (i.e., a shot glass full) of sunscreen to cover your entire body? (Nobody actually uses that amount, but still, that is what is generally recommended). That's about $6 per application, or three full applications per bottle... I bought this for a three month trip to Micronesia and ended up having to ration it for only those times I knew I would be swimming over coral, and used cheap, bad-for-the-environment sunscreen when I wasn't planning on swimming. Even so, every time I used it I felt like I was spreading truffle oil on my body or something.

Works Ok but check the size you are ordering. This comes in a rather small tube for the high price. Iโll go with the plenty of other natural options that are not so pricey.

little goes a long way
I came back for more, but it took a while to use it up. Excellent product where a little goes a very long way. It protects from the hot Costa Rica sun and holds up even when surfing. When I share it most people squeeze out too much, like they would need with other runny name brands sunscreens. It is thicker and a small amount on your hands then rubbed in is all you need. Apply and forget. Very unlikely you will need to reapply, even after swimming, etc.

Works great
This was our first organic and clean sunscreen and we loved it. No sticky or white face look. Washes away easily. Just was not lucky enough to bring it back and tsa in cancun threw away out our bottle. We were heartbroken. I think we both almost cried lol. Super worth the price!

I have very sensitive skin and normally sun screen brings me out in a rash, so this was a gamble. It has paid off. No rash and the cream makes the skin very soft. It does have a slight medical smell but that soon fades.

would not reccomend this for dry skin
Doesn't come in this packaging which was fine the description says it might not. the lotion feels like prickly paste when you put it on I have tried a lot of zinc spfs and this one is by far the worst. I have really dry skin and this barely moved around on my skin and I am pretty sure dried me out even more. I would not recommend this I only used it on my face so maybe it works better on body but most definitely not for face.

3rd rock essentials sunscrean
I dont personally like the smell of tjis sunscrean. Its not a sunblock like stated in description. I bought it because it contains zinc and i have a sunallergy. This is as thin as a sunscrean and not thick like the invisible zinc i have. This cream does nothing for me except for making me smell bad. If you have a sunallergy dont buy this cream stick with invisible zinc if you can get it. For me it means to keep searching the net to find a place that sells invisible zinc to germany

I liked the idea of this product but it is very very expensive for what you actually get. Very small bottles in large box. Deceptive. The product is greasy, oily and you have to constantly reapply to make sure you don't burn (every 20 mins in 25 degree sun). If you're looking for cruelty free products like I was - try superdrug Solait range. A lot cheaper, more effective (last longer), bigger range of SPF and applies nicely on your skin.

Happy with how natural it is and all
Man, this stuff just does NOT absorb. Turned my head white and it stayed that way all day. Not impressed for the price. Happy with how natural it is and all, that's why I paid 4x the price for sun screen, but I can't even use this stuff. Maybe I just used too much, dunno.
