Used it to make my PS4 quiet again!
Bought this, along with new thermal paste, to help silence my jet engine of a PS4 Pro. So far it has worked really well! Used it to replace the old thermal pads on the RAM chips and the capacitors near the CPU. Would recommend it to someone who is looking to fix their very loud PS4.

transfers the heat as expected/desired
Got these to help spread heat from a pair of m.2(sata) SSDs to an aluminum (external) enclosure. Initial tests of copying a couple 100GB of data to a bare bones m.2(sata) SSD would throttle the writes as the SSD became hot to the touch. Added a couple of these pads to the SSDs, placed inside the aluminum enclosure, and wrote 300GB of data to the SSDs (in RAID0 config) ... aluminum enclosure got quite warm (though not 'hot') to the touch but at no time was the write rate throttled due to overheating.pros: good job of spreading/transferring heatcons: expensive for the size; have read some reviews about the materials used in thermal pads so there are some concerns about how long these pads will last compared to the silicone competition (cheaper but w/ lower heat dissipation rating)

Pretty good thermal conductivity
I bought this to replace the old thermal pad on my Asus M5A99X EVO motherboard. I bought the motherboard used, plugged my FX-8350 into it and started over clocking it. The thermal pad on the VRM heatsink was old and dirty/dusty, so I pulled it off and replaced it with this. VRM thermals seemed to go down a little (2 or 3 degrees) so I would say that it works. Ran Prime 95 for 5 hours without a hiccup on a test bench with only closed loop cooler on the CPU. (no other fans providing heat dissipation)

The best thermal pad replacement you can possibly get.
Exactly what I wanted. I could have saved a little money by buying a lesser expensive thermal pad but I errrred on the side of caution and decided to get the best performing pad that I possibly could get. like others have stated this is not a typical thermal pad. it's very soft so treat with care if you decide to purchase this. So far so good. I even had left over material in case I need more thermal pad for other devices. i'm very satisfied with this purchase.

PS4 Pro fan is much quieter!
I used it to replace the thermal pads on my PS4 Pro. Buy two of you want to cover all chips, i bought one strip and have to cut the last one in half since i didn't have any more. It really made a difference making the fan noise almost do away. Use good quality thermal paste also.

Excellent thermal pad for PS4 RAM chips
Excellent thermal pad for PS4 RAM chips, unfortunately the strip is to short you will need to order 2 of them in order to cover front and back. The material is very sticky and easy to work with. Clean the RAM chips with isopropyl alcohol (99% recommended) prior to install, do not touch the pads with your fingers as the oils and dirt can interfere with thermal conductivity. You can cut the pad with clean scissors or exacto knife. Don't forget to clean the PS4 APU and apply fresh thermal paste. I recommend Noctua's NT-H1 or ARCTIC MX-4.After the install my PS4 runs nice and quiet.

Expensive but kinda worth it.
Expensive as hell but works better than anything I’ve tried on the market. Used to keep the memory temps on my 3090 under control while mining.

Would strongly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade the thermal controls ...
Bought these to replace the awful thermal pads for the GDDR5 in my PS4 Pro. After I cut them to the right width they fit perfectly. My assessment was that 1mm is the exact right thickness. I also swapped out the thermal paste for IC Diamond at the same time. I literally never hear the fan ramp up at all anymore, even playing a 4K 60fps game. Would strongly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade the thermal controls inside the PS4 Pro.
