## Description

The VE-300×2 has all of the upgraded features of the VE-300, plus the added ability to function as 2 independent zones (allowing multiple heating devices to function with 2 different settings, effectively allowing the user to use one thermostat instead of two). The VE-300×2 also can handle more devices than the other Vivarium Electronics thermostats, with a maximum threshold of 900 watts. The Vivarium Electronics Model VE-300×2 can function as a pulse proportional or on/off thermostat. Features include: Convenient table top mounting, Two independent heating zones, Full back-lit display, Displays probe temp and set point on main display, Hi/Lo History for each zone, Hi/Lo Alarms for each zone, Battery backup for clock, Built in Night Drop capability for each zone (independent), Remembers settings during power failure, Built in Safety Shutoff relay, Grounded receptacle designed for outlet strip use, 900 watt total capacity with user replaceable fuse (Spare fuse included!), 10' probe cords (2), user replaceable 6' Power cord, Stackable! Multiple units can stack for neat, professional appearance, Pulse Proportional OR On/Off capable for each zone. The VE-300X2 adds the addtional convenience of two independent thermostats into one unit! Both the probes and fuse are easily user replaceable without opening the case. **Q: Why is this 149 dollrs more on amazon Ve 300 thermostat goes for 144 dollars on reptile online stores?**
A: Because the stores don’t have them in stock. Simple supply and demand, unfortunately. You can try to go to those other sites and get on a email list, but you better be fast. I spent 2 months trying to buy one before I actually got my hands on one. Same goes for the radiant heaters. Happy hunting.

A: 2 outlets and 2 probes for 2 heating devices (300 watts or less per device)
