Coleman Utopia Breeze Lightweight Beach Chair with Cup Holder, Comfortable Portable Outdoor Chair with Carry Bag, Supports up to 300lbs, Great for Beach & Yard

I purchased this Coleman beach chair back in August 2024, and I wanted to leave a long-term review because it has held up incredibly well. Here is why I highly recommend it: Zero Fading: As you can see in my photos, the citrus/blue striped pattern is still super vibrant. Despite being used outdoors in the sun, the fabric hasn't faded at all. Super Cute & Functional: The design is really cute and easy to spot on the beach. It comes with a matching carrying bag which makes it very easy to sling over your shoulder and transport. The attached cup holder is also a great bonus. Durability: Honestly, I can't find a single negative thing to say about it. The frame is still sturdy, and the fabric hasn't ripped or stretched out. If you are looking for a reliable, cute, and lightweight chair that will actually last you for multiple summer seasons, this is the one to get.

I got these to use for our kids at camp. Regular kid camp chairs on uneven ground fall over too easily, when kids are climbing in and out. These are perfect! My kids sit in them like they’re lounging back and having the time of their lives! The little pull out cup holder was exciting for them to discover too lol These are sized for adults, I just figured they’d be a long lasting solution for kids. They’re actually comfortable to sit in for me, but my first attempt I needed help standing up as I was in my third trimester lol! So low squatters will have no problem with these! They also clean very easily, it isn’t a wrestling match to get it back into its bag, and the colors are cute. After a handful of uses, no rips or frays. Very happy! I’ll be buying more for babies 3 and 4!

I’ve lived near the beach my entire life. I know that beach chairs used in the sand and salt have limited life spans. This is true for all things metal near the ocean. That being said, we absolutely love these chairs for their portability. We have several we take on our boat to hang out on beaches that surround the area. We can fit 4-5 of these in the cooler seat of the boat and they are easy to transport to the beach. Now, they get sandy and wet and we try to rinse them with fresh water after using them to preserve their lifespan. They are low to the ground and not necessarily easy to pop out of for someone with mobility issues but they are comfortable. I see complaints that they don’t have a head rest but it’s a tiny chair that weighs less than 5 lbs and fits in a bag. You are going to give up something for that kind of portability.

Very happy with this chair! I was looking for a small foldable chair that was close to the ground (for the beach) and this works great! Easy to store in smaller apartments. The one downside is that I have only used it twice and the bag that is meant to store it/transport it-already has a tear in it.

I love this. Perfect for concerts at the beach or in the park. Lightweight, only 6 lbs. Cup holder and hidden pocket in the back. The cover has a strap for easy carrying. Set up and fold down a breeze. It is low to the ground, but that is what you need at the concert.

My wife and I bought two Coleman Utopia Beach Chairs for our recent 12-day trip to St. John. They worked perfectly. The chairs are sturdily constructed, fun colors, and the drink holder is a nice plus. We loved that they collapsed into a “cylinder” shape, because this allowed us to carry them over the shoulder, or to put them in a medium-sized backpack for hiking, something that’s really helpful on St. John. The cloth material held up well, and dried quickly after it got wet, which was every day. The only drawback is weight. They’re not super light, though they are lighter and more compact than most chairs of this type, and the compressibility makes up for it. On hikes of significant length, we packed our backpacking chairs, which are not nearly so comfortable, but only weigh 1 pound.

Very strong and well built

We’ve had these beach chairs since 2021 and have used them on countless trips to the beach. In fact, we’re using them today. These are definitely built to last. Great cup holder. I used them to hold heavy drinks just last night at our beach fire. They are comfortable and roomy. Easy set up and stores in a small space. They are like most beach chairs in that they are low to the ground. We are getting up in our 60s and it’s not as easy getting out of the chairs as it once was. lol.

This is a great companion to the beach! I wanted something that was small enough to carry with me to the beach or strap it to my bike. It’s perfect and comfortable. I’m really happy. It’s definitely a little pricey for me lol but from what I’ve seen, most of these types of chairs are priced similarly.
