The media could not be loaded. I've had this dvd player for 2 years. I've read a lot of reviews stating it's not a regional dvd player. It is the region will need to be changed.Insert DVD - press stop on control - press 1 for region A, press 2 for region B, press 3 for region C.

I bought a series from the U.S. and my original Panasonic DVD player played every DVD except the last one. I bought this player hoping that it would play the DVD. Unfortunately, it had the same issue so I returned the DVD and bought a Sony player. The Sony player played the DVD with no issues.

Great DVD all regions player, remember, if you want an all regions player you must buy one that is ICOS chipped, this one is and it states that on the box, a small thing to note that if used with other Panasonic equipment the remotes for each unit may operate both units, to stop this go into set up menu and alter remote setting. eg. alter setting DVD1 to DVD2 on one unit (this has nothing to do with region codes, do not worry!} point and hold remote for 5 seconds at unit and this will then fix that unit so it's remote will not operate the 2nd unit

This Panasonic BMP BD84 blu ray player has very good picture and sound quality.It's compact and easy to use.Value for money.However, I tried a few region 1 dvd's (US) which didn't work.Therefore, this product is not multi-region free for both blu ray and dvd discs as advertised.Very disappointing!

I purchased this for its multi region capabilities and sadly it wasn’t a multi region item so the description in the listing was completely false, after speaking to 4 different Amazon customer service reps I now have to send this back and wait about 14 days for a refund. Very inconvenient to me for a problem I didn’t cause or want. This listing must be changed or updated so other people don’t have this hassle.

Panasonic is one of the few companies who understands that film collectors need to source DVDs with region codes from outside the UK. I bought this to play the very few Blu Ray region A discs I have (my other multi region player can't handle Blu Ray regions) and this player does a superb job in vision and sound. Very reasonable price for a unique player. The only downside is that it doesn't do wireless wifi connection, so you'll need an ethernet cable.

I decided to purchase a multi region blu ray player to play region A discs of my favourite films not available in other formats. Having made two attempts to buy multi region players as advertised (which were mis- sold by some sellers- buyers take note of reviews- I wish I had) I took one more chance on multimedia magic who, low and behold, sent me a genuine player complete with instructions to help me change regions. Fantastic result.

This machine suffers from so many flaws it's pointless going into it, but the main this is it doesn't work any better than a Samsung machine from 2012! Yes you BBC play big deal it's useless, I put a standard blu ra in and it locked up and wouldn't eject the disk... Just don't get this machine, pay at least twice this price and forget the streaming services get an Apple TV or sky box. Also the unit arrived in a 'pre opened box' and had obviously been used before, the pitiful remote had dirt on it and was pushed into a used plastic bag and stuck down with a torn pice of masking tape! Poor show all round.
