The subtle colors fit with most decors. Feel good to touch as well as looking good. A wonderful well made product. I have purchased many of this companies rugs and happy with each of them.

This rug is super soft and super thick. I love the pattern, but the color is not even close to gray. It is for sure a sage green with blue, beige and a bronzed brown color to outline. From one corner of our room it has a gray tint, but still....it's green. It is lovely however, and we have green and blues in our home so I've decided to keep it. It clashes with my silver gray chair though.On to the next problem, the shedding. From what I've read online, shedding is normal for a wool rug. Per the instructions on several websites, I purchased a rug rake and have been grooming it like a beloved pet. I've owned wool rugs in the past and never had this much shedding, but i'm going to wait a few months and see...I debated on giving this rug 4 stars...and I may change the review in a few months depending on how it holds up and if the shedding stops. If you look for other Safavieh Heritage rug reviews I'm sure you'll see similar responses.

Not my first wool rug, but this one has been shedding for quite a bit longer than any of my other rugs and a higher volume of shedding. Since it sits on top of a wood floor, the surrounding floor needs daily vacuuming - and the rug doesn't get a ton of traffic. About the color - it is surprisingly neutral. I have pale yellow walls, white oak floors, and a mix of furniture. No kidding, it goes with everything. (But OH! the lint!) Don't use a vacuum with the brush... turn the brush off so you don't pull up the cut fibers. I have a Dyson, but I know many other vacuums have this mode. Avoid the temptation to use the brush, your rug will thank you. I have a rug pad under it, but it is nice and soft under bare feet.

I think this would be a nice rug in some situations, but it was completely the wrong colors for my kitchen. It was more gray than online with olive colors. It just didn't work at all for me so I returned.

Delivered promptly, exactly as described, just the size and colors I wanted for a small bathroom. It doesn't get much traffic so I can say the rug will pill much but I liked the weight/thickness that made it appear like a higher grade rug.

Like all these Safavieh rugs, the quality you get for the price you pay is exceptional. However, this particular pattern is extremely dull and the colors are unattractive. I returned it. Search the range for something more attractive.
