I have moderate to severe bunions on both feet and have been wearing these braces for a few weeks. I wonder if I had started wearing something like this years ago, if the bunions might not have progressed. At this point, I do not think these braces can correct the misalignment, but perhaps they can keep it from getting worse. They do take some time to adjust and get used to. Too much tension, and it's quite painful. I find I can tolerate more tension during the day, but have to wear it looser to sleep in. There is no way these will fit into your shoes and I have not found the gel protectors and sleeve to be of any use. I'm also not sure why the description in the paper work says that the "metal bar is flexible and bendable for walking". The metal bars do not flex and these are not the easiest to walk in. I wear mine when I am home and at night. I would be willing to try pretty much anything to avoid surgery so my fingers are crossed that these braces, with time, will do the trick.

I liked both the squishy toe seperators but I don't like the Velcro thing. None of this is going to correct bunions, but the full toe seperator is the best of them and gave the most relief during and afterward. The Velcro thing did okay on my mild bunion but the foot with the worse one didn't even pull it over at all, just a really bad angle for the velcro or the metal or something, and the metal bent with my bunion so that literally doesn't help me at all. They're super uncomfortable and the Velcro rubs really bad especially on my toe where I had to have it really tight and it still didn't pull it straight and there was no way to pull or adjust enough get it any straighter even me pushing it and trying to Velcro at the same time, it just went right back to where it was. Also, because of my bunions my toenails get ingrown really easily and the Velcro thing squeezed the heck out of that and stabbed it into me more which was so not comfortable. Neither of the toe seperators did that so I think those are good for some relief from ingrown toenails getting pressed in on by your pointer toe. I honestly feel I got more out of sports taping my bunions than any of this except the toe seperators helping my toe nail. Wouldn't recommend the pack but I like the full toe seperator if you can find just that. Those help with the overlap of the big toe over the little toe and with spreading your foot out for a good toe stretch. Don't like the single toe seperators. they need to be significantly thicker or they literally don't do anything because my toes still touched with them on which also doesn't help me. After around an hour or two these will start to make your feet fall asleep but the Velcro happened really quickly. Anyway, don't recommend the pack.

"I ordered this bunion corrector with so much hesitation at first because I am true size 5 1/2 but can not find any size “ small” anywhere so I took a chance and ordered this on a size “ medium” and I am so glad I did! It fits my small feet, it’s adjustable and comfortable on. I can also adjust how snug I want it, I put them on for 2 hours straight the first time and planning on doing that everyday and will give a review update. By the way I only need the right one but this comes in pairs luckily my mom’s bunion is on the left so I gave her the other pair, she’s a size 9 and fits her just fine. Win win for me and my mom. Love this product so far!"

These are made only for people with very small feet. Also VERY uncomfortable. Must be off your feet to wear them.

"I sleep on my stomach, with my heels straight up in the air, and my toes hyperextended. I recently started to have horrible pain and discovered I do this. I was hesitant to buy this, because of bad reviews, but home remedies (popsicle sticks, tape, etc) were working for me.When I got this, it didn't stop my toe from moving at all. I looked at it a few minutes and decided to try it upside down, with the extra Velcro starting at the top of my big toe, going between the toes, and securing underneath. It works perfect! My toe is unable to move upwards now.Now I will wear it for a week or so, and if I'm anything but happy, I will update."

I have bunions on each foot so it was great to get one for each. There were no instructions so I had some trouble getting them on the 1st couple times. They are very uncomfortable to walk in and the velcro can be irritating to the skin if you dont get them on just right. I wear them at night and to bed on days when the bunions are killing me and they absolutely do help, it would just be nice to be able to wear them while walking around. They would be even more helpful.
