Both have been used heavily and both are still in perfect condition (other than some flour, etc on them from cooking as I used them as recipe books...) There should really be an additional star you can give an item when you have battle tested it for years and are still happy with it!Very nice binder. Have only had it for a couple weeks so I cannot speak to its durability just yet. However it hold more than any other binder I have found and when using heavy duty page protectors the pages don't protrude out from the binder when it is closed.On a side note... One of the answers above states that it will hold over 200 pages with protectors. I got the heavy duty page protectors from Office Depot and at 98 pages I have basically filled it to its capacity. I really wish it would have held that many as I need about 160 pages.
