I am not sure. However, it is a clear coat after it dries. So if you are applying this on top of a colored surface you don't need to add color.

Will this waterproof the cracks between vinyl plank floor boards? And also, does this dry glossy or matte?

It's a great sealant it drys glossy, I do not use the sealant for what you're asking about, therefore I'm not sure.

Will this work on a clay tile roof?

I don’t know. I used it on an adobe wall and it helped.
