Review: Bright and They Come on Easily and Quickly - These are bright, they charge even on gloomy days and they're reliable. I put one on the inside of a porch post with removable Velcro strips and I basically can't sneak by it to take put the garbage can at the curb. Bonus -- it lights up when the desertcart delivery person approaches the porch at night! I used magnets to attach another to the outside door to my screened in porch in the back. I can't report on that as no nefarious intruders have been hanging around there at night thus far. I just bought two more, one for over my bedroom window, which I like to leave open overnight sometimes, and the other is TBD. But overall, they're really, really good.

**Q: Why isn't the light on when I first received it?**
A: Please check: whether the button on the back of the light is pressed. Is the light charged, if it's dead it needs to be fully charged in direct sunlight for 8 hours. If it is daytime you need to cover the solar panel of the light to light up.

**Q: Why doesn't the light last so long?**
A: It offers 3 modes:1 Motion detection (activates with movement, consumes power if triggered often), 2 Constant on (less bright for all-night use), 3 Smart brightness (stays dim but brightens with motion, consuming more power and reducing runtime).

These are bright, they charge even on gloomy days and they're reliable. These are nice and BRIGHT! Pay attention when ordering to select if you want "Daylight Bright White" or "Warm Bright" which is a yellower light. I ordered these hoping they would work with in-direct sun. They do, but only stay on about an hour. They work best and stay on longer with direct sun hitting them. Our sun pattern changes throughout the seasons in our patio, so I hope they stay lit longer in the spring and summer. I especially like that there are no electrical cords needed to function. I hung them on our metal fence using black zip ties. That worked great! They were EASY to install and use!
