It's a nice sunscreen that didn't break me out. I like this brand.

I have not tried expensive sunscreens, so I can't compare there, but for the price per ounce, this is definitely the best sunscreen I've found--a holy grail. It does not feel like a sunscreen. It doesn't leave me greasy or stay wet all day, even when I use the proper amount--1/2 tsp for full face and neck. It does NOT leave a white cast at all despite coming out of the bottle white. Unlike the satiny Trader Joe's daily sunscreen, which is a bit pricier, I don't even feel the need to wipe it off my palms/fingers after applying. It dries without drying out--like moisturizer; I barely feel I have anything on my face--again, just like moisturizer. I can apply it over a moisturizer plus azelaic acid, and I DON'T get pilling. After several hours, I notice a bit of a shine, which is natural for my oily skin--you may want the Trader Joe's one if you're oily and want to be matte, which is more drying and actually a gel that doesn't run. This Skin Aqua one is pretty liquidy, but not messy due to the narrow applicator. The scent is a bit odd; others here have said like alcohol, which I guess might be accurate. I think I stopped noticing it after 3 applications, and the scent does NOT linger after applying. It is fragrance-free--good for sensitive skin and prevention of developing allergies. It's also small enough I can keep it in my jacket or hoodie pocket to reapply throughout the day without being so small that I go through it in a week (3.88 oz).

I will never go back to American sunscreen. The texture of this is perfection, even for my husband with sunscreen sensory issues. It dries right away, but isn’t drying to your skin. I’ve used this under makeup and it’s awesome. I’ve done a Disney trip and several beach trips and have not gotten a single sunburn. Seriously the best!

This is amazing sunscreen. Right now they are charging $28 for one bottle. I have repurchased this multiple times and only payed $11 per bottle. Not sure why it’s more than double the price now. I’ll buy it for $11 but for $28? There are just as good products out there for less.

Lightweight but offers good coverage. Alcohol scent is strong but doesn't feel heavy on skin.

This stuff is the most amazing sunscreen I have ever worn, and as a redhead in her 30s I've worn a lot (Banana boat, Neutrogena, Coppertone, and everything in between). All sunscreens I've tried previously: grainy rough texture, strong chemical scent, greasy feel on skin. This stuff absorbs and leaves no trace, even later in the day after sweating. Sunscreen sting your eyes when you start sweating? Not this stuff.After application it's undetectable by touch, sight, and smell. But does it still work? You bet! I applied it yesterday prior to 4 hours working in the yard and I missed a patch on my arm (photo). I had no idea sunscreen could be so inoffensive, I'm a complete convert.

I used to buy this in Japan and loved it. I was happy to be able to get this product again. I have sensitive skin but found that most Japanese products are gentle and great for my skin. Always test it out just in case it causes any problems. This product is watery and not thick. It can feel like it is when first applying, but after a bit of time, it feels smooth and not heavy like some other products. I use this as a moisturizer after doing my skincare routine. I haven't applied it multiple times because it is just for mornings and use it with another sunscreen when I am out. I wouldn't use this when going to the beach or long days outside because of how thin it can be. Usually they use this as moisturizer at the end to help protect their skin.

For my folks that are like me and are on the more melanin side, this is great sunscreen to buy! I got it on sale for $11 and it is the best I’ve spent in a while. It is a chemical sunscreen so it melts into your skin and doesn’t leave a white cast at all. With my skin I also get sunburn easily and it does it’s job well. I have very sensitive and dry skin and this doesn’t bother me at all! It has a little scented smell but it’s extremely faint and non irritating! I’d recommend this for all skin types, especially my melanin-fam!
