This stuff really works!
This stuff is AMAZING! I wish I had taken before pics so the difference could really be seen, but since I didn't think to do so you'll just have to take my word for it. I have a house at the beach that had a metal compass decoration mounted on the vinyl siding. Over the years the salt air took its toll and rusted it through, leaving heavy rust stains running down the siding. My neighbor recommended this product, as he heard it was good, but hadn't actually used it himself. Well he heard right! This stuff completely took off all the stains that had been there for a few years. Much of it wiped off at first contact, and the deeper stains only took a little soaking and light scrubbing. I was amazed. I thought for sure I'd need to replace the siding due to the stains, but Star Brite was just what I needed. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Great stuff!

It actually works
I live in a tropical area where everything rusts quickly. I used this product and it works so efficiently I was shocked. First spray of product and within a few minutes 95% of rust wiped right off. Second spray, all rust gone. It does smell terrible and strong, but odor only lasted a few minutes. Very impressed.

It works on fiberglass
Works way better than I expected. Would recommend getting the gel, itโs would stick around working a little longer. Before & after attached after just a spray & rinse. Does have strong chemical smell & eye irritants but simply follow instructions. Applied mine on swim platform of boat while outdoors. Wondering what chemicals would do indoors.

Comparison of Meguiar's vs. Star Brite
I bought and tried out two similar products for this review. Meguiar's Ultimate Iron Remover: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLCKTQ18 STAR BRITE Rust Stain Remover Spray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EXIVX56 The Meguiar's product recommends 30 seconds of soak time, while the Star Brite product recommends 1-2 minutes. For all of these tests, I let both products sit for *over* 2 minutes. Test 1: rust rings on bathroom counter, from a can of shaving cream. Surface is some kind of cheap plastic, not sure what. I unfortunately did not think to grab a "before" picture for this test, but the two stains started out pretty similar to each other. Both products worked to remove the visible ring shaped stains, but the Star Brite product left some spots and speckles behind, whereas the Meguiar's product seemed to leave a lot fewer marks behind. Neither product seemed to discolor the countertop. Test 2: severely rusted shower curtain rod. This test was somewhat inconclusive, although both products worked to shrink the rust blotches to some degree. For this type of severe case a harsher product might be needed. Test 3: two severely rusted shower curtain rings. For each ring, the side shown face-up in these photographs was left face-down in a puddle of the cleaning product and left to soak for at about ten minutes (the longest soak time of any of these tests.) Each ring was agitated at the same time, at about 2 1/2 minutes, and again at about 6 1/2 minutes. I actually think Star Brite came out on top for this one, although as with the curtain rod, neither product did more than remove surface stains. Test 4: this small painted/enameled tray. I did not think to grab a "before" picture for this test, but there was a scratch in the paint and some noticeable staining around the scratch. I was only able to test one product, since I only had the one tray, so I tested Meguair's for this one. It did a good job removing the rust stains, but the scratch itself was still rust-colored after the treatment. It also did a good job of not discoloring the paint, something I was worried about. Meguiar's marketing materials seem targeted at automotive paint specifically, but it also seemed to work well with whatever type of paint was on this tray. Overall, both of these products seem to work well at removing rust stains, and neither product really did much to the actual rust splotches themselves. It's worth noting that neither product is advertised to remove rust splotches. Overall, I would give it to Meguiar's for outperforming Star Brite on the countertop, and for doing a good job on the painted tray, but I would not recommend either product for severely rusted iron and steel.

It works!
It works! The first application didn't seem to work which was discouraging but then when I let it sit for a hour I started to see the rust stain disappearing. It does have a strong scent but it does what I needed it to do .

Not A Quality Product
Does not compare favorably with other rust stain removers. The spray nozzle did not work at all. It failed to remove rust from the toilet bowl. Worse product ever.

Worth the money.
This stuff is a miracle spray. High iron levels in our well water stained my fiberglass pool with rust stains. I sprayed the stains and they were gone in seconds. I used bleach, magic erasers, nothing worked except STAR BRITE!

Amazing
Amazing product. Sprayed it on a gelcoat yacht hull that had become rust stained and the stains literally disappeared in seconds without any rubbing or scrubbing although I rinsed it off once it had done its job. Very pleasantly surprized.

Great product
I had fuel spit from vent while transporting the boat and it stayed on the hull as a yellow spot which was difficult to remove even trying to remove with several products . This product was great and did the job.

Removes rust stains
Genuinely works on multiple surfaces I have tried. Depending on age and severity I found that if the chemical stayed on longer, it helped easier with removal of stains.
