Good for leather repair
I must say that I was a little dubious about trying to repair a burn hole in my leather suite but I could find no one who would take on the repair locally so I decided to use the repair kit. I did a trial run on a spare piece of leather and was surprised at the quality of finish that could be achieved. I followed the instructions to the letter and was able to match the colour of my suite using the tints provided. I would have no hesitation in recommending this repair kit to anyone. You do not need to be an expert to undertake the repair. I would say that you need to be brave when cutting around a burn mark but other than that the kit is a pleasure to work with.

impressed
Bought this as our leather sofa had started to peel in one particular spot. I found the instructions were easy to follow and, though the colour mixing plastic tumblers provided were all cracked, I managed to create a match to our leather colour and finish. Hopefully I won't need to use the rest of the kit (glue/ tear repair), but it's there if I need it. I've used a leather paint previously, but this was definitely a better product.

Product worked but desparately needs better instructions!
I used this product to repair cat scratches to dining room chairs. It has made a great improvement to them but I feel through my own tenacity and "trial & error" than due to the included instructions that were woefully inadequate. I tried to use the video instructions on the website but they are in construction and I only found competitor's instructions on YouTube - making me wonder whether I should have bought one of those products. With 8 chairs to repair I could afford to try different techniques and after buying more P1200 grade sandpaper (far too little in the kit) I got an acceptable result but will probably buy a different product next time.

Great Product
For the short term this is excellent for repairs - does require a great deal of patience if tackling kitty scratches - but worth the effort. Have not had in place long enough to know how it fares long term.Could do with doubling up on the gloss and matt finishing liquids in this- so be careful with how much is used.Watched you-tube demo before purchasing - that convinced me.On first opening the package was very confused with all the primary colours, and rather daunted with the amount of things in it - but everything in this package is needed!Well packaged, and instructions are clear - but strongly recommend watching online demonstration before tackling

Be patient
Really inclusive kit with everything you need. Was a bit dubious at first using the filler on such a soft flexible leather but followed the preparation instructions and it remained flexible when dry. As with other reviews the hardest part is matching the existing leather colour. It took me a whole day applying various mixes, letting it dry and then adjusting the tone until I was happy with the result. The Chair has now been used for a couple of weeks and the repair still looks good with no signs of distress. Would definitely recommend this product but carefully follow the detailed instructions and give yourself plenty of time. Don’t rush it.!

Great kit but take your time.
Very comprejensive kit. Some observations. Dont put too much filler on as it is a pain to get off by sanding down. Build up slowly. If unsure if your mixed colour matches the area worked on then try it on an unseen part of the furniture (it is difficult to hide it if it is too dark). Allow plenty of time for the paint to go off before using al eather protector.
