I began yoga about a year and a half ago. The first thing I noticed, being a heavy sweater, is that that my hands would slide on my mat. So, I bought the Gaiam Yoga Gloves to solve the problem. And they have done just that. My hands grip the mat now, there is no sliding.The gloves do get soaked, as mentioned in other reviews, but if you sweat when you exercise that is going to happen. Also, when using a new pair, your hands will probably move in the glove itself, but this "issue" works itself out the more you use the gloves.I find that the Gaiam Yoga Gloves are great, especially for the price.

Happy with this purchase. My hands aren't super sweaty, but enough to cause my hands to slip on the mat in down dog. I wear a size large glove, I found these fit me just right. Maybe a little tight in the fingers, but you need that to keep the gloves from slipping on your hand.

Love these! I’m a sweater and my hands are always sweaty so you can imagine how difficult it is taking a Pilates or Barre class. These help a lot, they contain the sweat and the grip helps with stability.

I bought these gloves to cushioning while doing yoga. They are non slip and very comfortable.

Short hand area, would like a longer palm area to make it sit higher on the wrist.

I bought these to try to stabilize my inverted poses while trying to strengthen my grip but they ended up feeling more problematic than helpful. The material is like a standard winter glove. When I was in the downward dog position (on a brand new Manduka mat btw), my hands still slipped forward, but the gloves mostly stayed put which led the gloves to pinch the space between each finger. I guess this means the gloves do their job but it wasn’t a good fit for me if my hands didn’t also stay put.

Bought these mainly for TRX and my sweaty hands. Used for the first time and they worked great. They appear to be of good quality and don’t slide around on my hands. I wash them in cold and hang to dry like my gripper socks so expect a long life but will be buying more.

Bought these for use in hot yoga class. They grip well and keep me firmly in place when my mat gets humid in a hot yoga class. They fit well and are not distracting.

軍手並みに分厚いので夏より冬向きです。ヨガのダウンドッグの時にギュッと両手を突き出すとズレますが許容範囲かと思います。
