Best mag drill around $500
When it arrived, I was amazed by well it was packaged. Just from opening the box I could feel it was a quality tool. After opening I was again amazed how nice the case is, it is not a cheap case. The latches lock well to haul it. The chuck and chuck adapter spun true, no wobble. More then enough safety chain was supplied as well. The magnet force is so strong, you can not move it when turned on. The drill is not as loud as you would think, it sounds smooth, no weird noises when spinning. I did a few test holes and the drill works flawlessy. You can buy a Hougan, Dewalt, Milwaukee etc and yes they are better. But they all cost twice as much or even more. For under $500 this is the best mag drill.

SOLID MAG DRILL for the hobbyist or limited usage user.
We needed an affordable Mag drill to install a specific machine. The Black Bluerock unit worked flawlessly for this job. The injection molded case really sucks and was warped when it arrived. The unit had no real instructions or an operating manual to speak of. I did not need one but without one the initial impression feels really cheap.OVERALL I Like the item but have no idea how well it would perform in heavy rotation and I suspect the case would fail within a couple weeks of use.

Great mag drill if your using it only occasionally and not daily
Great drill for occasionally using it off my welding truck, it does slip a little on thinker material with larger drill bites and cutting tools however if your using this maybe for 6 holes every 2 months or for a fabricating project in the field with 30 holes occasionally. It's great, I would not recommend it for someone that's iron working or building stuff inside a large shop on an industrialized scale 7 days a week. Please if your a company owner, for the sanity of your workers and headache of wondering why they haven't got a project out yet, get an industrial size mag drill like a German made drill or a miliwakue mag drill it may be 300 or 400 dollars more but it will server you better. I used this drill quite heavily for 2 weeks while making my welding bed/flatbed for my truck, I used it as a stationary drill press and as for its actual purpose as a magdrill to drill holes for all my equipment to bolt down to. For a farmer, rig welder who doesn't use it everyday or a small shop that uses it once a month, it works.

Great for hobby shop
I've only used it a few times but it has worked great. Used one professionally before, and this is not as nice in construction as it's high dollar counterparts, but worked just as well.

I'm just a hobbyist and farmer but this has worked much better than expected
I build implements for tractors. This drill has worked flawlessly for several projects doing everything from brush grapples to front end loader quick attach devices. I'm just a hobbyist and farmer but this has worked much better than expected.

Love this drill.
This has been a lifesaver drilling large holes in angle iron framework.

Bet it's a little better than you think
Surprisingly good tool for the money. The Mag-drill is loud, but the magnet holds reasonably. On 1/2" plate it will lift if you gronk too hard on the quill, but keep your inner man in check and it preforms just fine within its specs. Is it a $1500 mag drill killer?...No, but it's not trying to be. If mag drilling is an occasional necessity and not too demanding on size and specs of hole this should do. I'd call it a well equipped DIY metal shop tool. The 'free' chuck that's included is not a good tool, so you can expect to buy a better one if you need a chuck, but it was free so don't complain or get distracted about what you paid for. If your bits are weldon shank annular cutters you might not even need to spend it, so it's appropriate the price doesn't reflect a high end drill chuck for the budget oriented.
