Home security system showed problem existed. Old battery was 8 years old and this one was an exact replacement. With the precharge was able to easily insert it into the system and problem solved. Can't state longevity yet but expect > 5years.

I think as consumers we would be happier if they would remove the "Lasts 3-5 years" and put that it lasts 2-3 years as I believe it has lasted that long for most customers. Mine lasted 2 years 3 months and 17 days! Seems that is pretty common for its life hooked up as a back up battery to alarm system. Seems the "other brand" battery that costs double this one, has a 3 year warranty and lasts about 3 years, so in my case, this is a better value and I'll be ordering another one. Just wish there really was a 5 year battery out there. Would be willing to pay for that!

Ordered this battery in March 2023. Guaranteed for one year. The Battery is low and signaling a replacement is needed. Will not purchase from this supplier again.
