Great little gun, easy to use and lightweight. Several different 'sprays' but usually use JET and SHOWER.Lost one star because if you don't bring them in over winter, they shatter and start squirting all over the place, so they aren't 'frost hardy' - my fault, as I forgot! Have put it on my calendar for the beginning of October, so fingers crossed if I bring it in, it will last more than the year (had to buy one per year so far so I should have remembered! Regardless, the hose and gun are far cheaper than Hozelock!)

Initially happy with this hose gun but it started leaking from body. Its now in the binUpdateTo my surprise I received a replacement which I neither purchased or asked for.Thank uou very much to the seller, incredible service have upgraded to 5 stars.

I'm not often moved to write a review, here or anywhere, but this is fabulous: It makes all the ahem... English or Chinese made (?) alternatives look like bits of primitive 19th century metal work - none of which last long. This is light, beautifully designed - elegant even - and made out of high grade coloured plastic (at least on the outside - though it's so smooth in operation I'm guessing inside as well). There are "only" 5 functions, but they functions so well it's all you need. And... the extent to which you use spray or jet or flat is not determined by you having to hold in a metal trigger to a greater or lesser extent, or by winding in an old knurled metal knob.... it's done by gently sliding forward an arced slide... and leaving it there! It sounds mundane, but after years of crap short-life clumsy sprays, this is heaven. OK, I'm going to lie down now, and maybe Madame will attend on me with a gentle libation, for I am over excited!

All the settings are good, the mist is very gentle on plants that don't like strong water flows - I haven't found such a gentle setting on other spray guns. What is also brilliant: the start-stop switch on the gun itself, no need to kink the hose or turn the tap off if you need to move to another border. Finally, the customer service: impeccable. After my gun started leaking a year and a month after I bought it (i.e. just out of warranty), Gruntek replaced it swiftly and without problems.

Simple to use, great design, why am I not surprised???? I purchase their lawn sprinkler, and it was SO good that I immediately bought another one. Gruntek are a fantastic company, and when I needed another hand sprayer, I just searched on Gruntek, and there was my sprayer. No hard grips, no buttons to press or clips to attach, it is all done with a simple on/off using your thumb! I am delighted with it, and yes, no doubt I will be ordering another one!! When will I learn............. if it is Gruntek buy two! Thank you, I am so pleased with it!n So good I stood in the rain to try it out!!

I was very pleased with the easy way of varying the flow and the even spray. Good for watering cacti in the greenhouse. One evening I finished watering and turned off the spray gun. Then I reeled in the hose. But I failed to notice that reeling in the spray gun had switched it on by knocking the volume control. It then ran water all night. Not good for the water meter! Would be good to have a lock switch. Otherwise a small movement of the gun at the end of the hose can turn it on. Never had this issue with a gun with a squeeze trigger.

This feels like a quality piece of equipment despite being mainly plastic.The Hozelock equivalent are more expensive and feel cheap. I have lost track of the number I have broken.I had never heard of GRÜNTEK before and assumed it would be a cheap Chinese import but after a bit of research and finding them to be a German company I thought I would take a chance. I am glad I did.A good selection of spray patterns and I love the flow adjustment with the pivoting switch.Look forward to many uses to come.

I bought one last year and I thought it was great. It seemed well made and great controls. So, I bought two more this year. One of them has started to leak from the flow control after just 2 months. No frosts or anything that could have caused it. May be I've been unlucky, hence the generous 3 stars.
