Clear headphones great for connecting to a Zealsound USB microphone. Studio quality headphones for a great price. They are also quite comfortable.

This looks like a huge review for such a small price tag product but I like to give all input to my experience for others to read and discern at their digression.If you are looking to buy a set of phones but don't want to invest a lot of money, go for these. I've gone through a LOT o f headphones and I can say these are GREAT for the price. $10 plus 15% at the time I purchased them. They are lightweight which is great for not having so much metal and like all the pricy headphones out there. Just holding them in my hand it they feels so solid yet so lightweight. The right angle plug is great, the and the 1/4" adapter is wonderful so you can use for recording/jamming/mixing or just regular use such as computer/handheld device/etc which is how I am currently using them. Hope people read this because it DOES come with the 1/4" adapter don't buy the "amazon suggested items" picture they show, it comes with one! The plug(s) feel very good meaning when I plug them in they snap in very solidly. Also having the gold panted on it is nice. Its small things that add up to make a great product like the small little notch grips on the plug end as well as the right angle design, slightly larger and feels substantial as opposed to say an ipod earbud plug. One sided cord is a big selling point for me. I only buy one sided cord phones now so you don't have to battle with two annoying wires its just a no brainer as compared to the, say, JVC HA-570's. Small, manageable cord is great so if you are looking for longer, I'd advise on getting the extender cable along side these because it never hurts to have one of those anyway. The fake leather style ear cushions and head rest are really nice with the Behringer name on top of the outer headband. I see the ear cups material wearing off in the future but that's later on...So why not 5 stars? Well, for starters they are a $10 pair of phones. They have their problems. They're small but manageable problems. For one, the adjustable headband is cheap. The outer shell of the headphones look like solid material but they are in fact ... plastic... "dun dun dun!!" music insert. As I was saying, the plastic adjustable band doesn't stick in place. Best bet is putting them on your head and trying not to move the headphones because that band will slide down on you. It isn't as bad as it sounds I mean right now I can put my index finger and thumb on the top of each side of the adjustable headband and slightly pull up and down, very little pressure being applied btw, and they don't seem to move. As I am adjusting the headband, it seems as if they don't slide as much when off your head. In other words the notch adjustment seems hold better when off the head. Oh well.Pro/Con list:PROS:- Lightweight yet- Great, durable construction and feel for the price- Great low price tag- One sided cord- Comes with 1/4" adapter- Thin and manageable size cord- ComfortableCONS:- Headband adjustment does not hold in place 100%- Made of plastic- Not mind blowing sound quality but look what you are payingBottom line, you can't go wrong with these Behringer HPM-1000's. I took a chance with these and it paid off. I recommend anyone on a budget, looking for any headphones with the over the ear design.

Best cheap headphones ever.

Purchased Several pairs for my Studio. They sound amazing, but every pair broke after a year or two of regular use. I've since moved on to other models. Still a big Behringer fan

Bought this item in January 2020 to use in a Zoom on-line class. Because the he ear cups are deteriorating promoted me to search back in my Amazon orders and write this review.I made the decision to buy these headphones because of the brand name Behringer, decent reviews and value. They did work as advertised when I bought them, and they still work now, but the outside material of the ear cups are deteriorating, leaving back particles in and outside my ear after each use.As far as use and wear, I used them 2-3 times a week for 3 months for the class, and then used them sparingly ever since. Very disappointed in the ear hole surround material material is deteriorating. It should last longer than four years. I have old Panasonic headphones that are over 30 years old and the ear hole material is still good, so it can be done.I would not buy these headphones for long-term use unless you only need a cheap pair of headphones for a short time and are going to dispose of them after.
