Monument Grills 9.45" x 17.7" 96333 Reversible Cast Iron Cooking Plate for Monument Denali 405, Denali 425, 35633, 24633, 24367, 41847NG, 77352

I've been searching for a griddle plate to upgrade and make part of my CharBroil BBQ (463376017). I didn't want to buy a separate griddle unit (expensive) but reasearched retro-fitting BBQ's for griddle - which is being done my manufacturers everywhere...except my CharBroil unit must be dated because there are no properly sized griddles made by CharBroil. I looked high a low and couldn't find a fit until I ran across this Monument griddle. It is heavy cast iron, packaged wonderfully, arrived in a timely fashion. I unpacked it and appreciated the craftsmanship of the griddle. I removed one of the three *grills* on my CharBroil (one of the 9" grills) and dropped the griddle into its place. It is the PERFECT WIDTH but about 1/2" short in length. To keep it secure on the BBQ frame for length, I bought two square 1/2" steel rods, cut them to length and dropped on along the top of the griddle and bottom to keep the griddle from shifting up or down. Perfect result. Way better than I expected. And using the griddle for veggies and fish is far better than out electric stove. It's a game changer and upped the BBQ ante this summer.

This drops right into where the standard Grill would be. It gives me the flexibility to have a griddle option within my Standard Grill. I would recommend two for most versatility. It is the same quality and durability as the grill tops for a reasonable price.

This is very heavy cast iron and the current method of packaging is not good. Luckily this time it didn't come damaged like the similar item from the same company I had to return because that one arrived broken. This one was loose in its box but did not arrive broken and I love it. So please monument, do better on product packaging.

Fun addition to your grill! Comes in handy for grilling veggies, cooking eggs, or whatever else you would want to cook or satee on a flat top.

I haven't used it yet but it appears to be of excellent quality. I purchased a Monument Denali 605 Pro grill and wanted all the attachments. My husband really likes to griddle so this was a must. This griddle feels and looks like it will stand the test of time. I can also add that Monument's customer service is outstanding!

Great addition to any grill and a must have. Cooking plates are necessary if you want the comfort of grilling veggies bacon or eggs alongside ribs burgers and chicken without having to do it in separate locations. Plus you’ll need it for smash burgers.
