Great value, and the bell works as a it should. Only thing I have an issue with is that last night, I wanted to put the light on for just 2 rods. The first one, turned on fine. The next 2 I tried, didnt turn on at all. The 4th one turned on and I was able to put it on the second rod, so I didnt try the rest. But it's already a 50/50 ratio on working lights and ones that dont work. Anyway, the bell works fine.

I Love these things! Been night fishing for 20 years. Always looking for something to light the rod tip to see when I'm getting a hit. Have used 8 inch glowsticks taped to rods for 10 years but NO MORE! The spring loaded clips on these are very strong and super easy n quick to put on and take off. I do not have to remove them to cast a 6 to 10 ounce weight and a large bait. The battery power on the AG3/LR41 that come with them averaged 48 hours. If you figure about 8 hours per night, that's six trips. But replacement batteries are affordable on here so its not a problem. I cannot recommend them enough. The only ding I can give them is they have a spacer between the battery and the contact that you have to take out to turn them on when you screw them together. Then slide back between the contacts to prevent them from coming on when not in use. But other than that they are perfect.

Had for like 2 years finally lost them all gonna order more they awesome at the beach at night when you have 4-5 rods out in a larger span the lights are bright as crap and the bells are loud and very sensitive to line or bites not rod movement

Love the bells and the light, we fish well into dark and not only hearing the bells you have a visual indicator of witch pole is getting hit. Even at dusk I can loose a rod tip in the background.Con** the only thing is battery life. You can get four five plus trips on the batteries, but the fade from the bright green light to a dull green. I purchased a 100 pack of batteries for this reason.

loved them except some would get stuck on n couldnt shut off which lost a quite a bit of them. N some didnt fit poles right which wouldn't ring bell and lost a few catfish. But the ones that have worked well have been great.

Loved these. The light saved me from loosing a rod. Big fish pulled it into water and the light allowed me to set it and jump in after it. Lost the fish but not my gear. My only complaint is the bells need to be checked to make sure they are secure and the spring isn’t coming off. Light is easy to see from along way off and bells are sensitive and loud.

We bought these one night fishing on houseboat.We have yet to use them while fishing. However, I see them working quite well.We have used the to keep up with our toddler at the hunting camp at night (as she runs around with the other kids) she jingles and lights up. She thinks it’s just the funniest thing.What I would say is that once you removed the paper between the battery and conductor... the light will not turn off. You must either put a barrier back b/n the two or take out the batteries. Be sure to keep the paper or something to put the batteries in when you are done with it.

I was shocked at how well these worked. I went on my 2nd ocean fishing trip and bought these to see if it would help me hear when I had a bite. I have a hard time feeling the bite due to inexperience. The wind and waves had little impact. I could tell at once when I had a nibble and when I had bite. I caught my very first fish within 1 jingle of the bell. I did use it at night and loved the light.Tip. Take it off before casting. I flung the first one into the ocean.

After an initial shortage in my delivery this seller YYGIFT, Has bent over backwards to fix the issue the replacement was well within the timeline stated. Thank You.This item is great and it does what it was meant to do show bites on the rod, It is a little painful till you get the hang of them to turn them off. You either after save the little piece of cardboard to place between the rear post and battery or unscrew them and bend the rear contact up a little then lightly screw the rear back on. The added bonus to the latter method is you get to see which light has been used.These items have been perfect for teaching my kids to fish, More so they actually got to try their first night fishing session (part night) If I was to give any advice do not cast with them attached, They might fly off or tangle your line, We haven't had that issue as we remembered to remove them for casting. If the bells annoy you, they are easy to slide off, So you have just a light. I used two like this on my tripod so I can see the outline so no one walks into it.

These do the job of alerting you of bites very well and also differentiating between bite and wind very well too. Only 4 stars as the don’t last if you forget to unclip and reclip between casts. The full 20 pieces lasted just over a month for my son and his friend for exactly that reason. They also noticed that within a week or so, those they did manage to remember to unclip started to rust a little so their longevity is somewhat questionable.

They are fun to have but I can see why they sell 20 at a time.Dont hold on to well when wet,
