Takes a little time in prep but easy to do and provide a variety of ways to use
I have never cooked these whole. After they have soaked I cut them into smaller pieces. Marinade and fry. Good texture and can be flavored any style you want.

As a vegetarian I would say these are fairly tasty. Of course it must be seasoned with your favourite Chinese sauces. The texture is a bit tough but can be cooked to a softer consistency.

Chewy meat substitute.
These are pretty good quality. They are good meat substitutes if you like chewy meat. I don’t like that they have wheat gluten in them so I use these are certain occasions.
