This stuff is magic. I use it on my bicycle clipless shoe mechanism., perfect, dry, lubricant. I sprinkle a teeny bit on the bottom of the shoe and then distribute with a small acid brush.. works perfect. This is a powder lubricant that can be used on just about anything.. highly recommended. In fact, I’m buying an extra bottle just to have on hand.. from what I’m told you can actually put it in other types of lubricant to increase the effectiveness of that lubricant.

I bought this, as well as the molybdenum disulfide powder from the same brand. I used the Friction Facts recipe: * 1lb of household paraffin wax (1 block of Gulf) * 5g of pure PTFE (Teflon) powder * 1g of pure molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). I bought the cheapest slow cooker I found find on Amazon, and measured the quantities using a digital gram scale. I did not bother with the ridiculous cleaning procedure using an ultrasonic tank. I just shook my chain for a few minutes in a Ball jar with some degreaser and dried with a paper towel. The results are awesome! My chain went an entire month, 630 miles, before getting noisy. The chain stayed clean the entire time, and it feels fast! I measured zero chain stretch during that time. For dry conditions this is probably the best you can do for your chain. Other sellers on Amazon give you way less powder for higher price, so this is the one to buy!

I was struggling with a very squeaky sustain pedal on my Nord Grand piano. After doing a bunch of research and getting to the point that it was almost worth the risk if I had to pay for a repair because I screwed it up, I bought this. I disassembled the pedal and used the supplied applicator (looks like a lipstick tester stick) to put the powder where the squeaking was coming from. After putting the pedal back together and plugging it in.... it got rid of nearly all the squeak, lol. It's probably user error or maybe I just needed to apply more, but this is MUCH improved from the previous unbearable squeaking that was happening before. It's also sufficiently easy to use that even someone like me can figure it out.

I mixed this PTFE powder in paraffin wax for a homemade bicycle chain lubricant. After ordering, I noticed the seller has a chain hot wax lube already mixed. Either way works well. The vendor must be a small business, as I got a signed thank you card in my order, which is a nice personal touch now days.

Bought this to use on internal cd/dvd rom rails as Lithium grease is only good for worm gears and such. This worked great to stop my ps3 from getting stuck when trying to read the outer part of any cd/dvd/blu ray. This is the recommended material to use for this type of lubrication. Works great and the reader in the ps3 is like new on the rails again.

I bought ptfe from china-it was a waste of money and time-it arrived compacted so it was impossible to dissolve it! runaway bike wisely put it in a bottle ,great as it allows you to use all the powder!Where i live in australia there is so much sand and dirt and this product disolved in parafin stops you destroying your drivetrain.
