Yep. I love it.
So, I have a slightly clubbed foot that has led to weak ankles and, now that I'm getting older, has started to mean a brace to prevent me from causing damage to my Achilles tendon. I have been trying various braces over the last several months because my feet just aren't that big and also, because even though it LOOKS perfectly normal (even the husband can't remember which one it is WHILE giving me a foot rub no less!), the bones inside are most definitely "weird" so, ANY kind of "arch support" hurts like hell really, really fast! So, I decided to give this particular brace a try because it seemed to have what I needed: heavy duty ankle support and zero "arch" compression. Now, I'll admit it, when I first pulled this brace out of the package, I was a little disappointed. The bottom felt weirdly stiff and the sides felt weirdly flexible. It also looked oddly small too. If you're guessing that I put it on and changed my mind, congratulations, have a cookie. First off, the thing actually fit. One thing I've been learning over this last 6 months is that half of them SAY they're "Small" when, they really mean, "Small for Sumo Wrestlers." But, I would measure, and I would trust and time and time again, I would be disappointed. (The ASO speed lace "small" was freaking HUGE!) That's why at first sight of this brace, I kinda shook my head. I even declared: "Oh come ON!...I may not be a linebacker but I'm not a Smurf either people! WTH?!" And yeah, of course, it fit. It didn't just fit, it actually fit into my work boot! And COMFORTABLY! First time in MONTHS, I was able to wear my every day boots to work and yeah, I was able to wear it ALL DAY! And yep! Sure enough, no pain at the back of my ankle. So, for TL;DR, here's the lowdown: PROS: Way more adjustable than it looks- Adjustable straps at all points including the stirrup part so if following the chart correctly, odds of fitting are really, really high. Seriously low profile- Have confirmed fit for the following styles: tennis shoes, combat style work boots, zippered fashion knee high boots, even zippered ankle high fashion boots. (Tried sandals during trial and it'll fit into them but, it felt a tiny bit wiggly to me- I have NOT tried while walking around though because it's winter at the moment of writing this.) Pretty comfortable- Easy to forget it's on during the day. CONS: May require a shoe- Feels a little more wiggly trying to wear around the house in bare feet or just socks- it DOES still provide some support that might still be enough for other people but even a pair of cheap tennis shoes seems to increase the support by a surprising amount so, some folks may NEED that extra support boost for this thing to work for them. Bottom likes to stick to socks- TO BE FAIR THERE'S NO WAY TO "FIX" THIS PROBLEM ANY MORE THAN THEY ALREADY HAVE! Because the bottom strap is adjustable, the velcro likes to stick to my socks making it kind of annoying to try to rip the brace off of them at the end of the day. Amazingly, on bare feet with no socks it doesn't feel scratchy- so what they made it out of was a really good choice but, yeah, I can see that causing a slightly faster wear on my socks over time- which isn't a super happy thing but imho is a fair trade off for a far better fit. See, the problem about that strap is that I canNOT see any way to "fix" that without removing the adjustable part completely- which would make it harder to fit to people, so my suggestion for the manufacturers is to leave it the hell alone and keep making it just the way that their making it right now. For those of us using it, I suggest just setting aside a few extra pennies in a piggy bank for our sock budget over time and deal with it. Well, either that or find a length you like and sew a small strap of thin cloth from a dish cloth or an old set of sheets across that part of the inside of it if it bugs you too much. Me? Since I wear a lot of different thicknesses of socks, I'm just going to cope. Anyway, this is a really good brace and I fully plan on getting more for backups. It is well worth the money for me and because of the being so adjustable, I would suggest giving it a try before dropping money on more expensive braces like it.

Very pleased. In combination with good shoes, has eased ankle pain.
It's hard to find high tops in my size so I needed something to stabilize my ankle in addition to a good pair of regular athletic shoes. I wear a 14 extra wide shoe and am overweight but the largest size, thankfully, worked out: maybe a little tight at first but after stretched from use it is a near-perfect fit. I can see them wearing eventually from use (I have a chronically bad right ankle)--but of very good quality for the relatively low price of the product.

Sizing runs smal, otherwise 5 stars...
Great ankle support. Gives flexibility, but very supportive so you are not able to roll your ankle. I purchased it for additional support after coming out of the "big black boot" after a fibular fracture and ligament tears. I followed the sizing instructions, but found the size I was recommended was extremely difficult to put on and take off without assistance. I am re-ordering the next size up, because I know with the right fit, this will be a great brace that will be used for quite a while. Overall, it is very well made, breathable material, and the simple lacing up the back makes it simple to adjust for swelling or for firmer support.

Not supportive enough for what I needed
Provides a bit of support, but don't expect this to really keep your ankle in place very well. If you really need to support your ankle, the lace up variety is the way to go. This support is slim enough to fit into just about any shoe. The velcro is nice because you can take the entire support off quickly, but it also picks up a lot of pet hair and fuzz.

Terrible
Sizes are inaccurate. I measure based on the recommendations of the site and what arrived in the mail was far too small to fit. There's no chance in hell these are going to make it on me. In fact, my 9 year old daughter has difficulty putting them on and they were bought with my 40 year old self in mind. Hopefully that gives you an idea of just HOW inaccurate the sizing is.

Stirrup Ankle Braces if the injury is isolated to the ankle joints/ligaments
I absolutely love this brace however, if you have small ankles and big feet be careful. 🤣 It took me upsizing in order to get the right fit. However, style was recommended to me when my feet kept going blue with lace ups due to the pressure on a nerve in the top of my foot. Stirrup Braces I think are fabulous keeping you not feeling to restricted while still immobilizing the ankle joint it’s self. Giving me the ability to gain foot strength without aggravating my ankle or the tiny fracture that hidden in there. Only thing that would make this brace better is if you didn’t need to shove your foot through it, in order to get it on!

Not a Good Buy
After spraining my ankle a few years ago, I have become more susceptible to sprains. My ankle also seems to be weaker than before and requires additional support during rotational sports like basketball and tennis. I purchased this product because it boasted stability and a wider range of motion than most ankle supports. When I received that package in the mail, it so happened that I had sprained my ankle the day before and was in dire need of a brace for support and compression. However, upon unboxing, I was saddened to see that the product was not all that I expected. First: It was extremely difficult and painful to put on. In order to slip the foot through the opening and through to the end, I had to extend my feet (ouch!) and shimmy it through the very tight support (even with the straps completely loosened, the support still remained relatively stiff due to the unbudging elastic bands). Even after my recovery, the brace remained difficult to wear Second: Weak ankle support - not as advertised. As shown in the picture, the brace is equipped with 2 velcro straps that wrap around foot to meet on the dorsal end. It is also equipped with straps on each end that allow tightening around the leg. The velcro straps are extremely flimsy and cannot possibly support the ankle. Though the ankles are surrounded by cushioning that is consistent with the brace itself, the velcro does it no justice, I am still able to fully extend my foot and range of motion seems unchanged (it is expected that a good brace would limit rotation). The straps around the leg only serve as tightening tools and have no part in the ankle support. Essentially, the ankle "support" portion is limited to the velcro straps which are inadequate. Third: The velcro wears easily. After about a month of daily use, I found that the cloth was fraying due to the velcro leg straps. When tightened to an extent, the straps break contact and tension is lost. I do not recommend this product to the heavy consumer. I will however recommend this to people who use this only on occasions and have no big problems with their ankles.

parfait

great support
Does exactly what it says, however I did order a size bigger due to Intermittent swelling. Can be a snug fit at first but after a few wears it softens up to slip on easier, great support

Great product
Great product. Really helped me stabilize my ankle while healing. I sized up one as per common reviews advised and its a bit to big now that my ankle isn't swollen.
