Real Irish Breakfast tea... Rich and malty! I drink many cups a day without adding anything. I find it very low in acid. Tastes wonderful; does not upset my stomach and does not require milk or sweetener. Pretty high in caffeine, but not as strong as PG Tips. A lovely cuppa to sip all day long. I like it better than Republic of Tea Lucky Irish, though I find the two to be similar. There's no comparison to dusty, stale grocery store teas like LIpton's (blah). Relaxing while invigorating.

I absolutely love Twinnings tea, I've never had a problem with the consistent flavour. Irish breakfast is very smooth and brews quite nicely. If you've never had hot black tea before you should certainly start here. My recipe for an ideal cuppa: Put tea bag in cup Put 1 single serving "Sugar in the Raw" packet in cup Boil water and put in cup (leave head room for some milk) Wait 5 minutes Take tea bag out Put about one creamer cup with of whatever milk you have on hand in cup Wait to cool just a bit and enjoy... You'll love it and feel perhaps just a bit more British.

Ahhh, that perfect blend of strong black tea, sugar, and milk that goes down so nicely on a cold winter's morning. Afternoon. Evening... Ok, any time, it's a wonderful taste that's soothing and comforting at the same time as it wakes you up. (Because heck yeah, caffeine!) This is a box full of black tea goodness, just opening the box allowed the beautiful aroma of fresh tea to fill the air - while the tea bags were each enclosed in their own pouch, so the aroma may have escaped a bit to introduce them to the house, but each individual tea bag is still full of flavor. Yum.

Liked the way each tea bag was separately in it's own sealed bag, safe food and sealed for freshness each time I have a cup of tea, This tea Beats the lesser flavored teas like Oregon tea packer/wholesaler " Stash" it spent their money on packaging but their tea leaves are not the same quality as the Twinings Tea Selections. Put Hot water from the Hotwater faucet in your teapot while your heating up your water, Empty the teapot water when your hotwater is ready from your "HotShot" by Sunbeam or some other Hot Water maker. Tea will stay warmer much longer!

My favorite Irish breakfast is Barry's, but Twinings will do in a pinch. It can be a bit difficult to find Barry's at times, sometimes the local shop runs out. Twinings has a good earthiness but not the same maltiness that I'm accustomed to. I also like a bit more bitterness without it becoming astringent, and this doesn't deliver on that. Still pleasant, worth a go.

This is one of my favourite teas, and getting it in a quantity that my local grocery stores have, but for more, this is not a difficult decision to make, getting this. Having it arrive earlier than expected is a bonus. The package is nice, and plastic wrapped, and I have never had a stale cup of tea from any Twinings product. This should last for a while, too!

I love, love, love Irish Breakfast tea, and Twinings makes an fantastic product. It has a very rich body, without being bitter or having off-putting aftertaste. My only concern with their teas is that each bag is individually wrapped in a wax-paper(?) wrapper that one discards, creating a great deal of waste per tea experience. I love PG Tips Black Tea Pyramids , too, and with their packaging I only need to keep the contents in a ziplock bag - much more sustainable packaging.
