I needed to repurpose my case so getting the right foam for the drones I’m storing in there are well protected. Being able to just set your item where you want it and just pluck out the foam in that shape. It’s so simple, a toddler could do it. Excellent price to be able to reuse this top notch case.

I needed to replace the form interior on my Pelican 1500 Protector case. I carefully measured the interior of the case to verify this product would fit. Note: Interior measurements of the case varies slightly depending on where you take the measurements. I eventually found the interior measurement of the case, if taken near the bottom of the case, matched exactly with the specifications listed for this case (16.75 x 11.18 x 6.12 inches). The replacement form fit the Pelican 1500 Protector case perfectly. I need to replace the foam in a second case and wasted no time placing another order, same product.

I don't have a Pelican case. What I needed though was a travel bag that would hold and adequately protect my camera and lenses. Yet have enough space to carry some clothes as well.With airlines only allowing you to carry one small bag without a fee, I needed a solution. After getting the measurements of the foam I realized that I could cut (pluck) it to fit inside of a Costco backpack I recently purchased and protect my equipment.So I measured it around my camera equipment and this is what I came up with. The foam fits nicely in my back pack now, and the foam cover isolates my equipment from shock on the top. While, my clothes in another compartment insulate my equipment from shock on the bottom.This photo is my first attempt at creating a padded travel bag insulation kit. It worked by I measured the perimeter of each piece of equipment a little too large. So I order another pick n pluck insulation kit and got it to work perfectly. I'm please

Replacement foam for a well used Pelican case.Perfect fit, good as new!

Had an old Pelican 1500 case for DAT recording of live shows back in the 1990s and wanted to get back into recording shows again. This replacement foam insert was exactly what I needed to re-purpose that old case. The foam fits perfectly and yes it is cubed for customization just like the original, even though it might be hard to tell from the photo on Amazon.
