Dr. Martens Girls' Sandals

I love these sandals- they've opened a can of worms, now I want to buy more- soo many more, but one person only needs so many pairs of sandals and I'm on a budget. They're stylish, but also practical, great for those who have a tendency to roll ankles and fall easily- great traction. I wore them camping recently, and also out for date night- they're versatile. Also, SOOO COMFY!! But breaking them in is a MUST! I wore them in two hour stretches-with socks- for the first 3 or 4 times before going nuts. Also they run large, as Docs do, I ordered the 9 and they are an absolute dream- but my typically shoe size is a 9.5/10 for reference.

I usually wear a 6.5 (if half sizes don’t exist, I go for a 6). My feet are wide with a high arch and the 5 fits perfect. Any smaller would be too small. The fixed straps across the foot fit perfectly. No gapping. The sole is soft and comfortable. The straps rub in a couple spots but I’m wearing them around the house to break them in.

Actually they are really comfortable you don’t have to brake in to it like Dr. Martens boots. Size it down, I’m an 8 and ordered a 7. Very happy with my purchase, they are gorgeous

It took FOREVER to break these in. And I mean FOREVER. I have had them for almost a year and the first maybe 4 months of owning them I had to wrap my feet in band aids. I wore socks with them (looked crazy) and I even ended up having to buy gel heel socks that covered my heel and ankle so that I could wear them without getting the most painful blisters. The first few weeks I wore them I ended up genuinely limping home until I could take them off. All that to say, if you are extremely persevering and you, say, miss the return window and stubbornly decide to make it work, they will EVENTUALLY break in. They are much more comfortable to wear now, and they are, admittedly, cute as hell. They make every outfit cooler. They have started to have loose threads along the stitching, which is supremely disappointing. The second I got them to an actually comfortable wear they started looking a bit raggedy. I am hoping it’s just a few loose threads and it doesn’t continue. Overall, they are a real commitment, but eventually they do work out.

I love these. They are so cute and comfortable. Sometimes I wear a 9 1/2 but a nine worked perfect. Buy these you won’t regret it.

I saw everyone saying that they run large and to size down, so I did that. I'm a women's 8.5 typically, so I ordered an 8. While the length was fine, my foot was too wide to comfortably make it past the second strap. I could technically get them on, but my foot was bulging between the straps. I returned them for a size 9, which fit much better. There's a little extra space at the toes, but the straps are the perfect fit and there's no bulging. The sandals themselves are okay. There's not much support so you're heel slides out of the back of the shoe while you walk. Would not recommend for walking long distances. The soles are super bouncy comfortable, though, and they're not as heavy as I thought they'd be. So if you plan on being on your feet where you're not having to do too much walking about, they're great for that.

They are sooo cute and extremely light for dr martens! I’m extremely impressed. They do however run a full size bug and the straps across my feet were also too big so I’ll be exchanging for a smaller size. Over all love and super excited to wear!

I read reviews that warned the fit was not consistent with docs products, but took the plunge anyway. I will be returning asap. Extremely disappointing. I am a size 8 across the board and always have been with docs. I ordered a size 8 in these and was prepared to find that they they might be a half size too big based on other reviews. They are too big but in such a way that I don't think ordering down a half size or even a full size would make a difference. The straps on the sandal that go across the foot gap off of my foot almost an inch. The ankle strap, on the other hand, is either incredibly tight or incredibly loose. There is no comfortable spot to fasten it. This sandal is so poorly constructed as to fit, it's almost amazing. I have a hard time believing it was designed by Dr. Marten's. It's as if they have never made a sandal before or seen a human foot. I saw some reviews say that perhaps the straps were so much larger/roomier than they should be because the consumer had a narrow foot. My feet are not narrow whatsoever. I'm wondering if it's the vegan leather that made the company design this sandal with so much extra space. Maybe because vegan leather doesn't stretch and mold to your foot the same way that leather does? But whatever they did here is completely bogus and unwearable. I can't imagine any size of this shoe would fit me if all of the across-the-foot straps are sewn on with enough space for a foot that is twice the thickness of mine. This sandal was so uncomfortable and awkward that I couldn't even walk around to test it out. I am extremely, extremely disappointed.

Las he tenido que devolver pq las 3 correas superiores me van super grandes. Tengo el pie normal, ni ancho ni estrecho., y me sobra correa como para meter el dedo y aun sobra. Por otro lado, la correa que ata al tobillo queda o ancha o apretada (segun el agujero), y justo cae en el tobillo, por lo que hace daño. Me sabe mal devolverlas pq me encantan, pero... imposible llevarlas!! **** Actualización: las he vuelto a comprar en rosa palo... y si bien la 3a correa (empezando por abajo), me va ancha, las otras 2 sí me van bien!!! Las sandalias son comodísimas, no me aprietan o duelen por ningún lado. De número he pedido el que uso normalmente, y me va bien (a ver, sobra un poquitín, pero nada exagerado). No se si un número menos me iria clavado, pero no me gusta que los dedos llegen justos a la punta. En mi caso medio número menos sí que me iria perfecto, pero un número entero.... creo que no. Ahora sí las recomiendo!!! **** Actualizo: los números en esta marca son 1/2 num más. Yo tengo un 37, y el 37 aquí me sobra como 1cm por la punta. Ahora tb tengo las Blaire en blanco... y son un 36!!! Y me va exacto al pie. Lo ideal en mi caso seria un 36 1/2 de esta marca (que seria un 37 en cualquier otra de las que tengo). Tal vez me siento el pie mejor cogido con el 36, pero eso ya es muy personal de cada una. El 37 no me lo veo mal, pero si que voy a enganchar una plantilla negra por lo que el pie me irá mejor agarrado con las correas. Las 2 sandalias son muy chulas.

I followed advice from others here and ordered size 3 rather than my usual size 4. They’re a perfect fit. I love the olive green colour that I bought and it’s true to the colour shown here.

Cinque stelle anche se fanno male per i primi tempo perché quando prendi dr martens già lo sai. Sono stupendi. Usando sandali larghi di solito, sono stata sul mio numero 38. Se si desidera un effetto più aderente prendere una taglia in meno.

Diese Sandalette ist wunderschön und Mann kann sie zu allem tragen ob Kleidchen oder Hose ich find sie ganz schön teuer für die Materialien die dort verwendet wurden.deshalb habe ich einen Stern abgezogen .anfangs haben sie noch an den riemchen gedrückt aber habe sie jetzt eingelaufen schade das ich sie jetzt nicht mehr tragen kann .

These are so lush, feel soo comfy - have been buying cheaper doc style sandals and the sole breaks within months - hoping these will last for many years 🤞
