The media could not be loaded. I bought the Levitating Floating Speaker, Magnetic UFO Bluetooth Speaker V4.0, as a Christmas gift for my husband, and it was a huge hit! He had seen it on a podcast he watches and kept talking about it, so I was thrilled to find it and surprise him with it.It was a bit tricky to get it levitating the first few times, but once we figured out the technique, it became much easier. Now it’s a breeze to set up, and the floating effect is so cool to watch—it’s definitely a conversation starter.The sound quality is great for its size, and the LED lights add a fun touch, especially in a dimly lit room. My husband absolutely loves it, and it’s become one of his favorite gadgets.If you’re looking for a unique gift that combines great sound with a mesmerizing design, this levitating speaker is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. In my opinion, this is a great item! It looks awesome and the bluetooth UFO speaker is pretty good… It’s just a fun unique thing to have! But, as you can see, I can’t leave well enough alone! It’s been nerd-ed up by me an ex-band nerd! The only drawback is, finding that sweet spot to levitate it. It slams really hard!!! The way I nerd-ed it up is a Area 51 top secret… lol

Ordered and received quickly. This was a trial run for Christmas gifts; I wanted to make sure the recipients on the other side of the country would be able to enjoy it. There was no manual in the package, but hey, I'm a smart guy. I can figure it out.At first, I could not get the saucer to hover. Then I noticed that the base was not completely flat (some bumps and bulges on the felt-covered bottom of the base) which induced a wobble in the base and which the saucer could not correct.So I taped the base to the tabletop for stability. The saucer was able to hover and rotate for an hour or so before inducing a wobble. The saucer kept overcorrecting and the magnitude of the wobble increased until the saucer crashed. No matter how I tried to anchor the base (books, sandbags, Gorilla tape) I was never able to keep the saucer hovering for more than an hour or so.All in all, it's a good idea for a novel gift, with overall sound construction. The wobbly base and absence of a manual are showstoppers, though. I thought perhaps drilling some anchoring screws into a nice walnut base might solve the stability issue but the intended recipients aren't that handy.The Bluetooth range is pretty good at 30 feet or so through walls. I was impressed with that. Sound quality is passable.

I normally never leave a review on a product good or bad but after fighting with this thing I felt compelled to leave a review . It Never did levitate. Finding the "sweet spot" for levitation is impossible tried for multiple hours on multiple days when the magnets start to pull either the base which is very light by the way starts to move or the head on the base will actually flex even if another person holds the base down which will thwart every effort made to get the UFO to sit in the "magnetic sweet spot". For those people who claim they got it to work I'm sure it doesn't work for long. I will absolutely be returning this product.

I don't think this has an option to just stick with one color. It only recycles through a color spectrum, which is fine, but I'll have to look into it more to see if I can just do one color. Otherwise, this is a nice little piece for your desk. It works off of magnets so you have to make sure you place the little UFO right in the exact spot where it will hover (you can feel it when you're attempting this), or the magnets will pull it off to the side. The lighting is LED and works well for when you don't want the area to be too bright, but have some light. Overall, I like this and am glad I picked it up!

My son saved up his money for this lamp/speaker. It is awesome! We love the colors and the cool factor. The speaker isn’t the greatest but is better then the Echo Spot he has been using to play music. It is tricky to get the saucer to levitate - I seem to be the only one in my family who can do it. I hold the saucer gently with my fingertips from above the center of the base and slowly bring it down. If it pulls down to the side of the base fast then I pull it off the magnet and try again. Sometimes gently twisting it as I lower it helps.

It is hard to get the UFO to levitate but once it’s there just keep it there. I like to use it for audio books or music that doesn’t have a lot of bass. The speaker isn’t as good as a Bose. But it’s a floating UFO, it’s good for the circumstances. I love putting the lights on the underside on at night while listening to smooth jazz or chill electronic music. Makes me feel like I’m in the future.

The first one I received was impossible to balance correctly. Like balancing the saucer on a razers edge. If I ever managed to get it, my ceiling fan would have knocked it loose. Additionally, none of the buttons on the base worked, at all.Second one I received after reporting the first one defective, worked wonderfully. Not only did I manage to balance the saucer first try, but the buttons on the base were both working. This second one I received was exactly as advertised. Sound quality is good too.
