I have an extra bedroom that used to house the cat's litter box. The lingering smell of cat litter was impossible to shake. I had tried everything, and was considering repainting the room to see if that would help. I read about activated charcoal as a deodorizer and thought I would give these a shot. I placed all 6 in the room in various places, and went to bed. I woke up to find that there was not a trace of cat odor...not even a faint whiff! I am absolutely thrilled and cannot recommend these highly enough. I will be interested to see if their ability to absorb odor wanes as time goes on...Fingers crossed!!!

I love 'em.The little eyelet hole makes it easy to hang on hangers in the closet.Note: They're too big to stuff in shoes. Get the smaller ones for that use.

These are larger than Ive bought before so I image they will be even more effective. I put a few of these in my closets. They work at removing orders very well. I bought this set for my stinky car. I put one bag under each seat. It works very well. No sprays or chemicals. Just natural charcoal. I hope this is helpful.

UPDATE:I've been contacted by Marsheepy and asked to put the charcoal bags in the sun for several hours. I did that and they seem to be working -- which makes me extremely happy!Why am I rating features like Scent, Thickness and Warmth? It's charcoal for goodness sake - not a blanket! Pay attention AMAZON!!I was really excited about this purchase but was disappointed with the end results. I did notnotice any difference at all in the areas I placed them:cabinets under the sinkssmall unused roomsnear air conditioner ventsI wish I'd had the same results as the reviewers had! Personally, I do not recommend.

Purchased a 70 year old house that has a lingering cigarette and musty smell. Put one of these bags in the closets and around the rooms most of the smell lingers and I’m shocked how well it removed smell in just a few days. I will be getting more of them.

I have bought two sets of these bags. The first few bags I put in my car to remove a lingering odor from hauling trash. The odor disappeared. I also have some in a long closet beneath the stairs that smells stale and musty after a while. No more! I tried "recharging" them in the sunshine, and that worked well also. I am a very satisfied customer.

These are awesome "odor eaters". As you can see I've placed them in a closet with shoes. It took about two days, but the my closet is odor free. These really do absorb smells without having an odor of their own. No more musty smell of the shoes and other closet 'woes'.I followed the instructions and put them in the sun for an hour before use. I'd absolutely recommend them!
