Continental4071005 OE Technology Series Multi-V Belt

5 weeks in and squeal is back and yes its the belt. BRING BACK THE GATORS!97 Dodge B2500 van 5.2 - old belt was only a year old so i changed the idler pulley and nope still squealing. Put this on and boom gone. 3 weeks and still good BUT 4 stars for misleading this is NOT a gatorback.

This belt wotked great on my Dodge Ram van 1500 with a 5.9.I replaced my belt because it was squealing only to have the new belt squeal also. So after replacing pully, and tensioner and the noise not going away I decided to try this one, and to my surprise the noise went away. No more driving dogs or myself crazy as I drive around.

Installed a new alternator and the old belt squealed. This one has been very quiet.

After trying two  Gates belts  of the same size which squealed (the tensioner marks showed as too long) I tried this belt. It fit great (pointer was right next to new belt mark as it should) and doesn't squeal like the other belts. For reference, this was on a 1998 Dodge B3500 5.9L.

First, I purchased regular belt at locl store and then later found this belt online. Many websites and forum recommended this belt for the van, so I ordered this via amazon. I should not compare old belt and this new belt, but differece is pretty obvious. very quiet and drive little smoother. I used to notice belt noise before, but this I hear very little belt noise. I will buy this belt again.

I absolutely love the Gatorback belts! Unfortunately the belt that Amazon said fit my Dodge V10 didn't fit at all. In fact it wouldn't even fit over the top pulley. In conclusion, the belt is awesome, but do your research and find the RIGHT belt for your vehicle.

This belt is made not to squeak. It's the best deal on the internet. I have done all the research for you!

The new belt has been on the truck for about 1000 miles and it is working fine no problems with belt squeak, or other noises that belts can make.
