Super fast boil
My RV stove has a 2 somewhat large burners. My old kettle was so small that it was a bit smaller than the burner. If I put the stove on high, the flame would miss the bottom of the old kettle. This one is nice and wide, plus it has the heat exchanger on the bottom that catches 100% of the flame even on the high setting. It is soooo much faster now thanks to the width and design. I did not time it but it feels like 10x faster. Maybe 2 mins to boil water for coffee? Anyway, its fast enough that the water is ready before I am getting the coffee ready for the water.

Rocket boil!
HIGHLY satisfied. A full kettle of water went from ~77F to 212F+ (rolling boil) in 4.5 minutes on my gas stove, medium burner. Crazy fast. Haven't camped with it yet but for the price I might get another just as a spare!

Works with MSR firefly stove.
Happy with the kettle. Good match with the MSR firefly stove, flames land in the right place and the heat routes through the ducts as designed. Pouring performance good, no nasty habits. Didnโt verify the weight or efficiency gain vs. regular pot, but for a long trip Iโm sure it will pay for itโs weight in fuel.

Heats quickly
Well built, pours nicely, just needs level marks on the inside.

Boil times
I was curious does the heat exchanger actually cut heat times to boil water. Stove used was a msr whisperlite Business camp kettle 1.6L with heat exchanger Pot in comparison is an old stainless mess kit that the handle folds over the top and locks in place. Old school pot was 5 minutes with 2.5 cups Bulin 1.6L was 3 minutes with 2.5 cups Time savings and fuel savings! The potential also comes with a nice mesh bag for storage. It poured nice into a mountain house freeze dried meal. Overall really like the purchase!

Great fuel saver
I've done some boil tests and this adds a noticeable improvement in fuel efficiency vs regular pots. Pretty lightweight as well given the capacity. Easy and safe to fill to the brim, easy to pour. Ideal usage is 2-4 people backpacking eating dehydrated meals, can share one stove and boil all the water at once and save on fuel.

As advertised
I bought this kettle for a multi-purpose kettle (i.e. boiling/simmering water for coffee, tea, food etc.). Holds 1.6 liters, right to the top. I filled using 3 500 ml (16.9 oz) bottles. Boil time over an isobutane Soto Windmaster at 1130โ feet (MSL) was 2:32. Pretty quick! 1 liter of water boiled at 1:28 in a no wind environment. Pretty stoked with the pot and heat exchanger/wind blocker. Worth the money, I would totally purchase again, as we are car campers (local overlanders ๐๐) and day hikers for the most part. Probably a little bulky and heavy for an ultralight situation at 280 grams empty. Overall, great piece of kit and weโd buy it again.

Great little camping kettle
I bought this to go with our expensive jet boil camping stove. It works great! Capacity of large enough to boil water for coffee and tea but itโs a great compact size that fits in our drawers our camper. I really like the styling of it too.
