better than expected
For years (and years) we've used a few old diapers as handy wiping cloths around the house. But they've become worn and stained. So I ordered a dozen new, birdseye diapers.Plusses: compared to the old diapers, which had plain woven selvage on two edges with the other edges cut with the zig zag of pinking shears -- these new diapers are nicely hemmed on all four edges. The diapers seem to be well made. While the fabric is not particularly heavy (Its loose weave is intended to be more absorbent), the quality of the threads and thickness appears to offer the potential for long wear.Modest downside: The new diapers are "rougher" than the 40+ year-old diapers that have been washed hundreds of times. This was a bit of a surprise ... but it makes sense that a few washings will be necessary for the roughness to go away. (Note, if intended for use on a baby, I don't think these are so rough that it would cause discomfort on a baby's sensitive skin). If, after another 30 or 40 years, I need some more diapers, I'll certainly give consideration to re-ordering these.

Cloth diapers
I brought these diapers as a gift they were for young people second baby. They did not know what to do with them. They said they didn't need the I said yes you do. I explained they are diapers when needed, burp cloths, shoulder cloths when burping, something clean to lay the baby on and later they become cleaning rags, enjoy...

Thinner than expected
I ordered these cloth diapers for a friend who is expecting. The fabric is thinner than I expected. All in all the diapers are not too bad, but doubling up is going to be a must. The quality is acceptable but I wouldn't call it excellent. Much more affordable, however, than the new snap-on diapers that have become popular in recent years.

Don't feel right
Thankfully, the delivery and the return of the diapers were quick and painless. This diapers are listed as 100% cotton; they feel rough and slippery, like 60% polyester - I didn't want to conduct any potentially destructive tests, since I would return them anyway.

Would Be Better Described as Fine Dinning Napkins
These diapers are not what we would really call diapers. Instead my wife referred to them as material that you would get at a restaurant as a table napkin. If you are looking for something soft and thick like cloth diapers used by mothers in the 60s and 70s of old, this is not the item you are looking at. These are very thin and the cloth is not very soft, basically like my wife said to me, they would made good fine dinning cloth napkins.I'm still looking for the thick cloth diapers of older years. If you come across any let me know where as the cloth diapers work great in the shop for restorations.

Soft but not very absorbent.
I purchased these to use as cleaning cloths and they are perfect. Nice and soft for dusting or cleaning windows. They might not be absorbent enough to use for baby diapers though. 49 years ago (the year my oldest child was born) the product was so much better!

Flat diapers are best
I like that these diapers are adjustable to every size and can be folded in different ways. Also, there are no center seams to test like with the prefolds. I prefer flat diapers for that reason.
