I absolutely love this product. I have a mini-scnoodle who yaps with the verocity of an 11-pound seceda. We have tried spray bottles, yelling, timeouts, spray collars, tingle collars, and even guilt trips. Nothing gets through to our yapping bundle of joy.This adorable beak has liberated her from the yappjng to express her anxiety! She actually gets excited to put if on because she has associated positive reinforcement with her beak. This muzzle is cute and sturdy. I removed one star from my review because it arrived somewhat bent and despite my best efforts it will not return to normal. It still works bent. I purchased this to help me put eye drop into my chihuahua's eyes. Works like a charm! The "bill" is very long - would not recommend using it for extended periods of time and definitely not without supervision. The reviews are very mixed but I decided to take a chance since my 11 lb. poodle would still snap at me while being groomed. Needless to say, he'd bite the vet during his visit, so he needs to wear a muzzle while he's there. I ordered a medium based on measurements of the poodle's muzzle and the reviews I read. I ordered a medium "used - like new" to save an extra buck. It came without its original package and instructions. I figured that I know how to put on a muzzle so instructions are not necessary. It turned out to fit perfectly. I had to adjust the strap to make it pretty small. I guess my pooch has a small head and a big mouth. It fits snuggly around his muzzle but he can still take a treat and eat it. He didn't like it of course and tried to rub it on the ground, so I can't leave it on him without watching him. He'd probably tear it apart by rubbing it on the ground since it is soft. It will definitely come in handy next time I clip his hair or take him to the vet. He looks so funny and cute in it, I think next Halloween he'll dress up Donald the Duck.

I have a mini dachshund and I put this on him when he begins to be rude barking and/or charging to discourage him. He can still breathe, drinking and eat. I only put it on up to minute upon barking/charging then off when he has calmed down. Within a week of using the duck bill I rarely have to use it now but as a precaution have it with us. Being a pet mom is a responsibility and tell those who ask if my dog bites, "he hasn't bit anyone yet, but anyone with teeth can bite."

I have a 13pound 3 year old standard size Chihuahua, He will nip at the vet f when he gets his shots or groomer when he gets his nails trim. I did a lot of research on which one and what size to get? I only use this for when he has to be handled by others and for short periods at a time. It works well. it is soft so there is not irritation, he can breathe well it on. I am comfortable with him wearing this since I know besides the fact he is Not happy about wearing this. It’s in its safe for him and his handlers, the vet and groomer have both thank for me bring him in prepared for his visit. I would recommend this muzzle for an adult standard size Chihuahua.

We neutered our Dachshund and within one day he had broken open his sutures two days later he broke his "cone of shame" I had orders this when I noticed a crack in the cone and it arrived just as the cone fell apart, my guy didn't like wearing it but it did its job and after four days or wearing it when I could not monitor him his incision has healed closed

Love it! The small muzzle fits perfectly on my Jack Russell. It keeps her from nipping at me when I trim his nails, but gives hime enough space to still be able to drink water. And let's face it, it's adorable!

My puppy is a bad "Chewer", so far he has chewed up electronics, several cameras, remotes, my other dogs collars, about $4500 in damage. He doesn't bite people but this ducky muzzle keeps him from chewing up the entire house but it allows him to drink water. I take it off long enough for him to eat and play. He sleeps in it quite comfortably, if not he'd chew off my other dogs collars while they slept. It's not intimidating looking and he can still open his mouth to a degree, enough to during and play with soft toys. It's saved me loads of money. Puppies usually grow out of chewing by 12 months. It also kept him from chewing out his stitches.

Cute idea but bad chemical smell! I dont know if other dog owners experienced this? I know dogs have an excellent sense of smell so I could not imagine leaving this on my little guy with such an overpowering chemical smell.I tried washing the product with Dawn dish detergent to get rid of the smell, also tried other ways to reduce the chemical smell of the product but to no avail. :(

Loved It! It worked perfectly against my puppy always biting my husband's arm in play. Now he just has to show her the duck muzzle and she immediately stops and runs away.

I love this item BUT the size charts are out to lunch. Initially ordered a medium as indicated by my dogs measurements, it was HUGE. Sent it back and ordered a small and it was way too small.I wish this company would figure out their sizing charts, and maybe make stuff that has less of a size difference between a small and a medium.Super disappointed

It is not super easy for my dog to get this off her head but after trying for a few mins she can. It does fit snug and do the job it's supposed to if you can make sure your dog doesn't fight to get it off. Very funny when on lol.

I use it just for short periods of time where I need to keep my puppy from chewing on things. I ordered the largest size and it only fits on a smaller dog/puppy.
