cuts wood like butter, prefect for my router flattening rig. I've flattened several tabletops, cutting boards and woodworking tables.

I purchased this 1 1/2 inch spoil board surfacing bit out of curiosity, knowing 1/4 shaft may be a little small to sling that big of bit. I run a trim router on my CNC and so not high performance to start. The bit I got cut nicely in knotty alder but had a lot of vibration and was extremely loud. I reached out to the company asking a few questions and they replied back almost instantly. We exchanged question and answers and prior to me asking or them telling me I got notification they had refunded my money. I wondered if there was a factory issue and would gladly taken a replacement. I ended up taking the refund and purchasing a second identical bit to give it another try. I now know my trim router was most of the issue and contacted them again to let them know what I found and their first bit was fine, offering to pay for it because of the refund. They denied payment, thanked me for the update and hoped I continue to buy from them. Customer service like that now days is unheard of in my experience and this company has secured my business as long as I can use the consumables they offer. Flattened my first end grain cutting board with this. Can't speak to the longevity but I had no issues with both sides of this board. Cut was pretty fast and the finish was good quality. Came packaged with this wax coating that was shed on the first cut.

Upgraded to this after using one of the super cheap surfacing bits off of amazon. This seems great for the money. It leaves a super clean surface unlike the cheap bits I used that seemed to leave a ton of tear out and a porous feeling when surfacing hard woods. This is actually substantially cheaper than the "cheap options as well" when you factor in that each blade can be used/rotated 4 times plus I might try and sharpen the blades after using all four sides as well.

This thing cuts really well. I can run faster feeds on hardwoods than the last one I had. Love it!

Great concept but it's tough to get the screws out that hold the bits as they are not lined up for a straight on extraction. Design flaw. It's easy to cross thread the screws changing the bits and when you do that a time or two the bit is junk. I wouldn't buy a second one.

One of the first bits I ever got for CNC and it's very tough. Any mistakes I've made learning have been on this bit so it's taken a thrashing and I'm still haven't needed to turn the blade around or sharpen it. Has lasted a lot longer than many of my other cheaper V carve bits, so buy once, cry once. .... I would buy again if I lost it somewhere

I purchased this to flatten large wood slabs with my hand held router(DeWalt 2.25hp) - it is working well so far. I've leveled/flattened 2 24 inch by 16 inch slabs. Zero issues, and a quality cut line. I'm very happy with this product (again, so far). Will update if any issues arise.

Really happy with this bit for CNC use. Clean cuts with less cleanup after. I like that I can rotate or replace the carbide cutter rather than buying a new bit. Very hair with the purchase!

Awesome tool. Very sharp, (got some cuts to prove it.) Worked out of the package, no adjustments needed. Works exceptionally well on hardwood.
