JUST FOR MEN Touch of Gray Mustache & Beard, Dark Brown & Black (1 Pack)

This is super easy to use. I put it on my husband, and he looks 10 years younger. It does leave some gray. It looks super dark going on, but it does not stay dark at all. Be careful not to get it on your skin. I got a little on him and it was hard to scrub off. Also, he thought washing it with my the purple shampoo I have is the same as color treated shampoo and it made the grays a tiny bit purple. I can barely notice lol. He doesn't like me to take his picture. You can see in the first photo that he has the gray patches on the sides and it made his beard look sparse or patchy. I can really see a different, and he's happy that it doesn't look fake and super dark.

Very disappointed the last 2 times I bought this product and used it all my beard changed to brown I am extremely disappointed my entire beard changed to dark brown it's now 3 weeks and it is still brown. I can't recomend it to anyone who is look for that salt and pepper look.

I was a bit nervous trying Just For Men Touch of Gray for my beard, but the results blew me away. The brush applicator makes it super simple to get even coverage, and the formula goes on smoothly without any weird streaks or clumps. I chose the Dark Brown & Black B-45/55 for a subtle salt-and-pepper effect, and it blended perfectly with my natural color. Update 5: bait and switch, false advertising. Pictures shows 5 minute formula, packaged received is 10 minute formula. Update4: Received response from Just For Men indicating they did indeed change the formula to a lesser quality formula that now is 10-Minutes. They requested a response to several questions, though because it was sent from a donotreply email address I believe they really did not want a response. New formula is the worst and the price is the same. Maybe time to go gray in protest to the change of the formula. Poor product, really bad customer support, and deceitful marketing tactics. Update3: inaccurate product description! The product image and description is for the 5-minute formula, not the 10-minute product that is shipped to the purchaser. There is a vast difference between the two formulas in that the 5-minute works great and the 10-minute formula takes longer and produces poor results. Just received two tubes of the dark brown/black color. As a long time user ( 7-years) of this product I was deeply disappointed in the batch I received. I applied it on my mustache and beard and immediately noticed to gel was very light and thin. It did not have the same coverage as previous batches and after 5 minutes barely added any color to my hair. Tried the second tube and it was the same result. I am sending both back and hope for a replacement batch with better quality, or I will stop buying from Amazon. Sadly, it appears this is directly from Just for Men. Lot number is Z25B314, B-45/55 Dark Brown/Black. Update: Replacement order was the same low quality formula. Will contact Just For Men directly! Update 2: Purchased through another vendor same results. Box now show 10 minute coverage , though more like 15 if you want even minimal color. Applied twice, two days apart, just now showing some color. Previous formula gave that “Groucho Marx” look in the first application with a 3-5 minute time, this one does not, not even a little bit. Bottom line it takes twice as much, twice as long and cost is the same. Marketing and investor gimmick to increase sales by lowering quality making you have to buy more to get the same results as before. So if you still want that “Touch of Grey” be prepared to buy more to get the same results that one tube used to do.

I bought Just For Men Touch of Gray Mustache and Beard B-45/55 Dark Brown & Black by just ordering directly from my order history page, which I have done previously, ensuring I would receive what I have previously . Having used this for years, I am adept at it's application as well. The issue is its not as it always has been for the 2 - 3 years that I have used it, Less than 6 months ago it came with two tubes of color, one marked B-45 and one Marked B-55 which I would blend to a color that was more natural to my own. Now there is one tube, marked B-45/55 and it came out far to black and seems to cover more gray than previously, goodbye salt and pepper, hello obviously dyed black haired old guy, not a good look for anyone past a certain age. I have to say after years of use, they have lost me. I do not have any of the older tubes of color so I cannot verify this, but if I was a betting man, my $ would be on they are very close to the same size, tube to tube contents, if any difference exists at all. Effectively receiving 50% less product for the same price, and losing the ability to blend your own color at that price. Even if the tubes are slightly larger, I did not get the same coverage it seemed to dye black what ever it was on, no touch of gray left afterwards as it had previously. For this purpose I wish I had an older one to verify. Does it color facial hair, yes. Does it work as it had at leaving the Touch Of Gray, not for me, as it has for years. I suppose I could buy two packages, but that is just not going to happen. I also did not notice any change in packaging informing me of the change, until I wrote out the product name from the box, I do not recall if it previously specified there were two tubes of separate color previously or not, but it has for the years I have used it. Maybe I received a defective batch, but since the tube is marked with both the 45 and 55, it does not appear to be, and that's just too bad, as it has always been a 5 star product, not anymore in my book, and the 3 star rating is generous, if they dropped the "Touch Of Gray", then it would be a solid 4 compared to other black hair dye's available.. Sadly, another great product seems to have changed for whatever reason, and this change should be in BOLD on the front of the packaging, Shame of them for seemingly trying to schluff this off, do they think their customers are just old men who can't write or would not notice there was now just one tube, I really hope I received some sort of botched package, because now the search begins for a new one that does what this one traditionally has, sighhh..

I had given up on mixing the tubes for beard wash which was ok, but this product was simple to use (10 minutes in not 5), looks great and maintained the color much longer than the beard wash and i didn’t have to use gloves or get my fingernails dyed. It also thickened my beard.

Works great on beard and head! Exactly what one should expect. It doesn't stain your skin. Your grey hair will get tinted... not completely dyed. It's a natural look but it will definitely darken your non-grey hair as well. Here's how you should use it... Take a shower and wash with shampoo. Blow-dry whatever hair you will be using the product on or let it completely dry. Hair needs to be very dry. Apply product to beard, mustache, head, eyebrows, wherever you want less grey and darker hair. Start a timer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes rinse in the shower until water runs clear and then wash well with a color safe shampoo. Doesn't need to be fancy. Blow-dry your hair or wait until completely dry and do the process again. If you are still wanting it darker wait until the next day and do it all again until you get the color you want. Night and day difference. If you get out of the shower and see some dye on your skin you can wash it off or rub it off with a wet towel.

I have used the two-part "Just For Men" that isn't a "Touch of Gray" before and it works fine. At my age however (55), a fully colored beard looks ridiculous; so I tried the "Touch of Gray". My beard is almost completely gray, but my hair is still 98% dark brown with a gray strand here and there, and a hint of gray at the temples; I have not lost any hair from my head yet, so the almost completely gray beard just looks weird. I chose the light to medium brown at first, fearing the blue-beard syndrome. At five minutes, there was no appreciable difference. I waited two days and tried again, but this time I left it in for 10 minutes. This time it worked, but the color was a little un-natural for me. It was lighter than my natural color and didn't look right. I ordered the dark brown-black and mixed a little of it in with the medium brown paste, for a third attempt. I mixed it about 1/3 dark, and 2/3 light and left it on for seven minutes. I felt that there wasn't enough of the dark to cause a blue-beard reaction. This time the result was much better, though still not quite the right color. Next time I plan on mixing it about 50/50 and leave it in for maybe 12 minutes. After each application I rinsed in the shower and applied a little dab of my wife's shampoo to clean the beard. I never use shampoo on my hair. I have dry hair and shampoo is too harsh for me, so I only use conditioner to clean my hair. My beard is soft and getting close to the right color to match my still mostly dark brown hair. As far as I can tell, it lasts more than a week for me. With the not-quite-right brown I went more than a week and still wasn't seeing any gray roots. With the mixture, I am seeing some gray still, which is exactly what I want, it just needs to be a little darker. So, while it's not a single-product solution, with a little experimentation I think I have found a solution that looks natural.

Best beard dye for greying beards. I have medium sized beard and the best part is I think one can use it thrice which is a good deal 👍

This is the third time I get this item in bad condition, it should be heavy like paste product but it comes as a very watery like product, if you can please reship a better product I would appreciate it, otherwise I am very disappointed. Thank you

Just for men brand is good👍 but Online order I’m not sure quality especially this product , Dye Fade very soon

Works as described. If you close the tube properly, you can use it a couple of times. Just don’t leave it on for too long unless you want a drastic darker beard.
