After that, it was still noticeable but only at a small percentage of the original strength. I was using one square in a 10' x 10' room. I'm not sure what the few bad reviews are about, maybe other sellers, but these wax melts have got to be the best and strongest I have ever used. Of course they may be strong in an enclosed basement. Break them in half and only use half of a cube, they will last that much longer.
