I worked as a firefighter for 31 years and was up and down at night. Since retiring I could never sleep well with dreams and nightmares from being a firefighter. About 30 minutes later I felt myself getting relaxed. The first night I woke up twice which is good for me. The difference this time I was able to easily go back to sleep. I've been taking this NOW supplement for two weeks. I'm now sleeping thru the night with maybe one occassional bathroom visit. When I go back to bed, I have no trouble falling back to sleep. Two weeks ago, I was getting up at 4am and feeling tired all day. Now, I sleep until 6am which is late for me and feel so much more rested. This is important when you have 7 and 5 year old granddaughters coming over to play. Definitely works better than plain melatonin. Helps get you to sleep, but for us (seniors) it doesn't always help you stay asleep. At our age, that's not unusual.
