Im not pregnant and never got pregnant uaing this stuff. Clean up quickly though. If your very active it can leave your partner a little uncomfortable. Almost like chaffing. I personally had no issues though

personally we prefer these over the gels. it makes it easy for either self application or me to apply it inside her. the films are too sticky as soon as they get wet and stick to your finger making you need to twist or yank it off. hopefully those who prefer those enjoy it better but we both hate that form of application. also i should add no oral.... that should be common sense but we have to put do not eat on scented soaps

Has done its job in the last 30 years. We used it EACH AND EVERY TIME we had sex and also used it with a diaphragm. Which makes it a lot more effective. I applied it to the diaphragm before I inserted it. We have 2 planned kids. It’s a wonderful alternative to birth control pills (I couldn’t take them bc they made me depressed. ) Important! If you have external itching after sex wash yourself immediately after sex with a mild body wash. It removes the contraceptive gel that comes out with semen. I used a tampon after I washed myself as well to keep more from leaking out) but very carefully! don’t dislodge the diaphragm! Washing with water alone didn’t help against the itching. I also had frequent urinary tract infections for a while. Until a doctor told me to urinate IMMEDIATELY after sex (cleans the urethra from bacteria that can cause the infections) No more urinary tract infections or itching ever again! Awesome. By the way, it makes your mouth numb if you get a tiny bit in your mouth by accident. But that goes away quickly. Don’t try to eat it!

The product works well in terms of spermicide. The gel however is a bit drying and you can feel the difference with and without in our opinion. Otherwise a great product and easy to use the disposable applicator. Can cause some slight itching after but no rash!

My partner and I have been using this for about 5ish months. We use condoms, but we're both in school so want to be extra safe. Instructions say to use a new one for every 'round,' but we don't as were using extra protection- although I'd recommend anyone who isn't to do that too. I'm sure it's case to case as some of these reviews are baddd, but we've had no issues. First time use i felt the slightest tingles but that was it, never felt that again. Effective with condom and importantly, makes us feel a lot more comfy during sex as we know we're protected. Condom once came off when he was pulling out and we were both scared, but nothing happened (and we learned the lesson to always hold the base when youre pulling out lol) No burning, no infection, no PH balance, just make sure you're using it right- applicator straight and push it all the way in/till you feel resistance. Only con I have is that, don't use if you have plans right after unless you can properly get it out of you if you're sure nothing got inside during intimacy. (unless you're using as only form of BC/non barrier protections, then don't wash out till up to 6 hours!) Made the mistake of taking a walk right after intimacy, no fun. Goodluck pals, I'd fully recommend as a second BC method for extra protection.

Pretty easy to use, would recommend not ‘cleaning up’ after as will result in a numb mouth/tongue! Wouldn’t suggest using too frequently as can cause downstairs issues for ladies.
