Great bag!
Really researched this before buying this, and I was not disapppointed, Took it camping, it was pretty rainy, adn the tent leaked a timey bitm with a puddle forming right under the bag, Also got left out during a hike, directly in the rain.no leaks, everything dry as a bone. I actuallly prefer the roll down and straps to a zipper. The opening is HUGE, for easy access, I actually used packing cubes to keep things organized ( another new for me, but loved them!) Worked beautifullly with the bag. It appears well made, but has only been on one rough trip. so will see how it does next year. I will update if any issues, So far, so good.i dont really understna dthe people that had diffiuclty wiht the shoudler strap, worked fine for me,

Sturdy, heavyweight, and waterproof
It is what they say it is. It's roomy, sturdy, and waterproof. I've packed it and thrown it in the back of my truck as a test. We are now on day 3 of a projected 8 day weather front (results of a tropical storm in the Gulf). The socks, t-shirts, books, and assorted camping gear I stuck in it are all dry. It's kicked around back and forth in the bed and hasn't been scuffed or scuffed anything. I got this because I'm tired of having to wrap things in trash bags when I go out camping and this does the trick.Next test is dropping it in mud and seeing how easy it will be to clean off.

Really well made. The shape is long and skinny..
I love that it’s waterproof and not plastic. It’s large enough to hold clothes I need for three seasons while traveling. I don’t worry about mold inside. Very durable. What I don’t like is the Velcro seal across the top is intermittently placed. I prefer a continuous long strip. I wouldn’t purchase this brand again.

No zipper
I am a noob when it comes to dry bags. The bag came with no directions on how to ensure the contents remain dry. With no zipper the bag isn’t very versatile other than camping. I love the size and material. Overall bag is very sturdy and well constructed.

This is the bag
I was looking for a bag that met the following:* fits as carry-on item in overhead storage.* is flexible in size, big when needed, small otherwise* is waterproof. Never know when you need it* is lightweightThis hit all of them, and on top of that I love the huge opening, combined with the great cinching / compression straps. So you can just throw things in to the black hole and then close it and compress it down and it’s perfect. Before this I was using a duffle with a zip and I was using compression packing cubes and then struggling to zip it closed. Now I don’t have to worry about any of that and packing this things takes no time at all. Also it is very lightweight. It really feels very optimal overall. Currently using it for travel around SE Asia and I love it.The only negative is that the shoulder strap is pretty flimsy, and not grippy enough to stay firmly on your shoulder, but you can buy different ones, which is probably what I’ll do.

Great bag
I took this on a five day paddle trip. I encountered heavy rain and the bag was sitting in a puddle in my canoe for hours. Although the outside of the bag seemed saturated, the water did not seep inside (everything in it was still bone dry). It is roomy for a roll top. I used the two handle straps to carry the bag like a back back for climbing hills and steps each day when loading and unloading the canoe for camp setup. The material is softer than the typical PVC type material you usually get with waterproof bags which makes it easier to grip and less slippery. The roll top opening has Velcro on the inner edge to help keep the tabs together for easier roll down. I did not submerge this bag, so I can’t attest to its waterproofness in that scenario, although I think any roll top would eventually leak when submerged. I recommend this bag.

Worked perfectly
This bag kept everything dry on a three day canoe trip. Accessibility to the bag's contents is much easier than digging into a tall dry bag. This was a good buy.

Good bag
Great bag. The top needs to be rolled, but it works well.

Solid, waterproof duffle
Just got back from Algonquin Park on a 4 day canoe trip, rained a bunch, windy...not a drop inside, which is awesome since all my clothes would have been soaked. The 50L is huge, lots of packing space, rolls down tight, very thick material which adds to the weight, but tough and nicely designed buckles and straps...works great, lots of piece of mind with this duffle!

I gave this bag hell and is survived.
I strapped this bag to the back of my motorcycle and took it up to Scotland to do the NC500 in foul weather. I chose this bag for the price and that fact it was waterproof. I strapped it sideways onto the tiny rear seat of my motor cycle and uses ratchet straps to single lash it on. Using the plastic hopes next to the handles. The bag carried most of the bulky and heavy items and were really forced in. I thought the 50L was to small once I started to pack it but knew a bigger bag was to big for the tiny saddle on the motorbike. On the 4th day my other bag broke (the back pack) and I had to ram even more into this bag and getting it closed was a bit of an issue. I knew I was overloading it but once I managed to get two rolls on the opening and the clips shut I knew I wasn't going to keep the contender inside the bag dry. But it did! I'm now home and the bag has a few marks on it from the trip but all the structure bits are like new and I have full confidence in the bag and plan to take in on more trips. I think this my be my new go to bag for trips away. I may even get a back pack one for work if they do one. Only give it 4 out of 5 because I think it comes up a little small when its got 3 rolls on the top as my back pack was a 30L and it seems to hold just a tiny bit less than this 50L bag.
