CND Shellac Nail Polish, Nordic Lights, 0.12 lb.

I'm a big fan of doing a solid color coat and then layering a shimmery or glittery coat on top. I chose this one to go over a purple shellac color. I absolutely love how they turned out. I couldn't stop looking at my nails for days. And I got a lot of compliments. I think they looked as close to galaxy nails as you could get without doing actual nail art. Pardon my monkey pajama pants in the picture, I do my own nails at home.

Great for accept nails or to give interest to other opaque purples. Love it over Rock Royalty and Plum Paisley. Too sheer for use alone in my opinion and a little too dark for an accent nail over Tinted Love, but changes the color in general to create a "new shade". CND is always my go-to.

Nordic Lights CND Shellac UV nail polish: Beautiful purple shimmer color, with random iridescent sparkles, color is brighter than most pictures show. The sparkles are other colors like light blue or pink, like the aurora borealis (Nordic lights). Semi-transparent, so several coats are needed to make it opaque. Goes well to layer over other colors. To make it a brighter purple just layer over a light color, like a pink or white. Very fun color.

This is a fun color with lots of sparkle! I really enjoy it. It's not nearly as dark a purple as the bottle makes it appear, though. At least - it's not with the standard two coats. I suppose it might get that dark if you kept layering on the color coat. Still, I do enjoy the color, and the sparkles didn't cause my polish to clump up the way some cheap sparkly polish does.

Nordic lights is quite pretty. I did 2 coats of color, but, I’ll do 3 coats next time for a darker shade. The sparkles are great.

I LOVE this color and this brand of gel polish! This was my first time using gel polish....it lasted me about 10 days...I could've left it on longer, but it bugs me when I see my natural nail growing in, so I removed them. The first time I only used 2 coats, but ideally, I like 3 coats best! NO CHIPPING! Great fall/winter color. Just the perfect amount of sparkle.

I had this colour applied when I was at a spa and fell in love with it. It applies evenly and 3 coats gives you a deep purple finish.Lasts for 2 weeks without chips and peeling (it could last longer if you don't mind the gaps in your nails).I used 1 coat of Shellac ice vapor on my my ring fingers to add some extra bling.Easily removed with Shellac Offly Fast (just follow the instructions on the bottle).

This is a lovely colour and in brighter lights you can really see the glitter in it. My only criticism is that it’s not very pigmented so to get a darker colour you need about 3 applications. The photos are with 2 applications.

Fast delivery, layered this on top of rock royalty and it wore for 14 days. Will buy again.

This is darker than it looks in the pictures but is a lovely plum colour with iridescent sparkles in. It takes at least three coats to get a nice strong colour but once it's on it looks lovely. It's stayed on well even on my 6yr old daughters busy little fingers.
