Alex's Low Acid Organic Coffee 12oz Bag - Fresh Ground French Roast (Pack of 1)

Only diehard coffee lovers that suffer debilitating reflux/GERD will appreciate this. A few hours ago, I finished my first cup of fresh ground french roast coffee with ZERO pain or discomfort, and I am beyond ecstatic! Normally I am extremely uncomfortable after the first two sips of coffee; I just cannot tolerate it whatsoever anymore. I had to give up my beloved coffee months ago. I kept trying various brands, but no luck. Various roasts, half-caff, decaf, cold brew, and adjusted Ph do NOT mean acid-free. It has been an expensive and frustrating education to say the least. As the days are getting cooler, I desperately searched again for a low acid coffee, and this popped up in my search. I didn't know that no-acid coffee was a thing. I decided to try it. To my delight, I found this coffee to taste absolutely delicious. I used two tablespoons with the Melitta pour-over brewing cone and filter, using approx 8 oz near-boiling water, then topped it off with my almond milk. Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it to me. I almost shed a tear of joy as I enjoyed my morning java. It's only my first day, but I'm feeling very optimistic (as my suffering begins immediately with regular coffee). Will post an update if need be. Happy day indeed!!UPDATE: Several days later, still enjoying my coffee every single morning!! Woo hoo!

As I’ve grown older, my stomach has become more sensitive. The same gal who could finish off an entire pot of coffee in a few hours found herself unable to consume a single mug without running to the bathroom with diarrhea. At first I stopped drinking on days I had to leave the house … then I stopped all together. I was miserably tired all the time, and my productivity hit a new low.When I saw this, and the company owner’s claim that it was different because he concentrated on eliminating a particular type of acid, I had serious doubts. Still, I had to try. I’m so glad I did.This coffee tastes richer than the brands I bought in grocery stores, and my “intestinal distress” has completely ended. It’s been a week now, and I couldn’t be happier. To the man who figured this out and then brought his success to market for the rest of us to enjoy - thank you 🙂

IT IS A GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR REGULAR COFFEE. IT DOES HELP WITH THE STOMACH ISSUES WITH HAVING NO ACID

I love coffee and when I was diagnosed with multiple stomach ulcers and diverticulitis I had to find a substitute. I am so grateful for this coffee because I drink a LOT of coffee! Not only is it acid free but the taste is excellent! That is very important to me. My ulcers are totally gone but I continue to drink this brand of coffee as my diverticulitis still kicks up from time to time. Even if all my digestive problems were gone, I would continue to purchase Alex’s coffee. It’s that good. I highly recommend to anyone with tummy or gastric issues, but also to anyone that just wants a great cup of coffee.

Due to extensive chemo, I had to give up coffee. I tried caffeine free and that didn't work. Repeated bladder infection kept me from something I truly love - coffee. After ten years of no coffee, I decided to try this particular one, with no acid. Well, I'm back to my old self drinking coffee with no repercussions. Finally! I can feel "normal" again. Thank you, Alex's Organic decaf acid free coffee. Thank you for helping me find a part of my life I thought was lost forever.

I have a hiatal hernia so can not have anything acidic w/o getting wicked heartburn. I have not had any caffeine or even decaf coffee in over a year. Caffeine weakens your LES(lower esophagus sphincter) so you get a lot of heartburn from it. I’ve tried countless decaf coffees & they all gave me heartburn even though claiming they were low acid. I am happy to report that staying on a low acid diet had gotten rid of my chronic heartburn. And this decaf coffee is legit no acid. I had no issues!

Some like strong some medium some even light. I like this coffee. Call it medium but I really have no idea. No acid taste. Good coffee.

First of all let me just say that coffee is my life. I start out with hot in the morning and move on to iced in the afternoon. I had to give it up because I had reflux so bad that my doc put me on 3 different medications. After a couple of weeks without my beloved coffee, I found Alex's Acid-Free Decaf. You might say... why drink coffee if it's decaf? Well, I love the flavor of coffee and decaf is not by choice. Anyway, this is a great cup of coffee. Smooth and full of flavor. I'm so happy to have my morning coffee back! I highly recommend this to anyone who can't deal with the acid in regular coffees. I may have to start a Go Fund Me so I can afford to keep myself stocked with this coffee, but it's so worth the cost.
