Silicon Mix Hair Treatment and Shampoo 16oz – Intensive Deep Conditioning Hair

I absolutely love this hair treatment! I love how it leaves my hair—soft and silky—and it has an incredible scent. It comes well-packaged; it's an excellent product, and I will definitely buy it again.

I'm still in shock. I got this hair... it's wasn't low end, like BSS, but it wasn't high end... it was somewhere in the middle. About $45 a pack. It was great for a month and a half, but then it started getting stiff and bunching. The tangles were always easy to get out, but it was a constant battle to keep it tangle-free, and I hated the stiffness. It was time to get it redone, so I took it out. I heard about the bleach bath, so decided I would try to revive it and use it again. But I don't think I left it in the bleach long enough. Unfortunately, I did this right before my appointment (went with the hair wet, LOL) so I didn't realize til it was back in my head that the hair was still stiff and also seemed to have product buildup. So, my options were to take it out and have her put in some new hair or try this. So, I decided to give it a try. My first step was to clarify the hair with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo. I had to do like 3 washes to get it to suds up. Then I washed it with the Silicon Mix Shampoo once. Next, I put the Silicon Mix condition in and combed it through. I sat under the dryer for about 40 minutes with it covered in plastic. It was late so air drying wasn't an option. I sat under the dryer for about 40 minutes, which got it mostly dry. I was worried about this because most advice tells you to air dry the hair and that this is critical. When I got from under the dryer I was AMAZED at the results. It was so soft, light and bouncy. It was basically like it was when I first got it. Based on the way it was before, I couldn't believe it was possible for it to be restored to their level. I am so happy I don't need to pay for some more hair and then pay for my stylist to remove and reinstall. This is a miracle product! EDIT: I noticed this also worked miracles for my natural hair. After washing, I just twisted up my leave out and let it dry. Then, I used a flat iron without even blowdrying it first, and I could already tell the difference in how straight and shiny it was. For the two weeks until I washed it, I barely had to touch it up. It stayed straight and shiny. There was a true difference with how my hair straightened and remained straightened than with any other product I've used.

Made my hair really soft after and long week of no moisturizer. Brings back my curls every time. The shampoo does not strip my hair even after two washes. A little bit of both goes a long way definitely will buy again.

I really like this shampoo & conditioner. I will be buying it again. My hair is fine and can get frizzy and feeling like straw. I have to admit that I really wasn’t impressed with it after the first use…I may have been expecting a miracle but now that I’ve used this shampoo & conditioner four times my hair is so soft, shiny and has weight to it but doesn’t weight my hair down. (As opposed to my hair feeling like fly away straw). The more I use it the more it’s making a difference in the texture of my hair and now I’m impressed. This does have a very strong scent to it but I personally like it. My hair smells clean even if I don’t wash it for 2-3 days. To me, it smells like a combination of Ivory soap, baby powder and a hint of roses. Also, I’ve noticed that even if I don’t wash my hair for three days I don’t get that oily feeling at the scalp with these products. Update, I’ve now used my first bottle of this shampoo & conditioner and I love, love, love my hair now. My hair is so soft, shiny, healthy and has body. My hair also feels thicker/fuller. One major problem I always had was tangles with wet or dry hair. It was always so hard to comb out my hair after shampooing and it was just as hard to brush it out when it was dry. My hair was breaking off so badly. That has all changed. I just ordered more of this product. Also, my husband tells me my hair smells really good.

The smell is amazing

I stumbled across this product searching for a silicone based conditioner. After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase and give it a chance. Im Caucasian, with naturally curly hair - shoulder length. Over the years my hair has become brittle and coarse due to consistent coloring and age. This product is amazing...everything the awesome reviews say and more. The first application I washed my hair and applied conditioner. I left on and used the bonnet dryer for around 30 minutes then rinsed out thoroughly. I dried and straightened my hair and it was smooth and silky. There was no need to use additional products to get the smooth look I seek to achieve with multiple products so frequently. 2 days later I washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo and applied the treatment to my hair again and left on for 3-5 minutes and rinsed thoroughly. This time I let air dry, and was surprised that my beautiful curls were back. I've not seen them in a while. I thought it was because my hair was too damaged to get that beautiful bouncy natural curl anymore. This product has started improving/repairing my hair. Not to mention that I live in the south, and humid weather in the summer has always made for bad hair days. Not anymore!!!! My hair has been frizz free since I started using this product. I usually don't write reviews....However, I was compelled to share my results / experience with this product. I have already ordered more and it will now be a staple in my home! Obviously different products have different results on different type hair. But for this price, it's worth trying. I was definitely NOT disappointed.
