I thought the book was very helpful. It could have explained a little more in depth instructions but the author covered the Prime's features in an easy to understand way.

Difficulty accessing Kindle lending Library
I find it difficult to access Kindle Library since buying my Kindle fire. With my kindle paper white I could access it very easily. Now with the Fire the prompt is for Kindle unlimited which is more money. I haven't been able to borrow book from Kindle library for several months.

Great suggestions from a great site.
Steve Weber's Kindle Buffet is where I go in the morning (after the Washington Post). Over the last few years this tool has helped me sort through the amazing, often delightful abundance of free or inexpensive books available to me. Having lost my job in the last House of Representatives elections, I decided to take an early retirement and spend half my time in the small coastal town, where I became, by virtue of being the last person in my family standing, the owner of a small cottage on the water. Having examined my budget(small) and my state of mind (fragile) I decided to opt-out of television, commercial radio, and social media. I quickly developed my own equation for selecting my free or discounted items, but Mr. Weber' web site did a very helpful service of culling the items available down to a manageable number of choices. I especially enjoyed the guest writers and their selections. I am sure there are others offering this and similar services. But really, who doesn't enjoy a nice buffet for breakfast?

Of minimal value
I guess this guide cleared a few small things up (like how Kindle lending library has to be accessed by Kindle device only) but I still don't know how to get the most from Prime, especially the video rentals. I never see a Prime option and always end up being charged for videos.

Nice, but.......
Biggest problem, couldn't watch any movies via Google Chromecast. They would play, but very choppy, stopped and started, etc. Couldn't enjoy a movie playing like that. We had to watch The Wire (great series) on my 17" laptop as a result. Although there were some "fixes" on the internet to solve this problem, I couldn't get them to work. E-mails to Amazon for help with the situation went unanswered. Apparently, they are fierce competitors with Google, so...... And, there are lots of movie titles available as part of the package, but there are many more that require additional fees. The "free" shipping is nice. Really didn't use the music feature and only one book (the book I chose happened to have additional fees). I guess if you have the Amazon version of the Google Chromecast product, this would be a worthwhile service.

I have been a prime member for several years and did not know or understand many of tthe. Benefits. This book was very clear and helpful. I plan to keep it for reference.
