I forget where I first heard about Poetry in Lotion but purchased the travel size first to try it out. AMAZING! Feels good going on and quickly absorbs without being shiny. I use it at night and it's become the top choice of a rotation of three skin rejuvenation products. The next day my skin truly glows, fine lines diminished, and I have a smooth complexion. I've tried a lot and nothing has worked like this. Buy the travel size to start (less $), use it a few times and I think you'll see a worthwhile difference!

It works without any irritation

I bought this product because the Oprah magazine said women should be applying a retinol product nightly and this is the product recommended. It said on the package paperwork that in skin tests on people there were no skin reactions like peeling or redness. However, after three days of use my skin definitely peeled and turned red. It also burned so I would use it sparingly at first and also use it every other night initially until you get used to it. DERMAdoctor POETRY in Lotion 1 oz (30 ml)

I've used this regularly, every night, or every other night, for over a year. It has smoothed my skin, evened out discoloration, lightened melasma, made skin feel firmer, and kept breakouts at bay. I will continue to use this, because my skin has never looked better.

This is a great product, seems to help reduce fine lines with regular use, however .... no matter how much product is in the cannister, you're not going to get much opportunity for "regular use" after a couple of weeks, because the pump will stop working, and the product inside is then inaccessible. Forget about just trying to screw the cap off to shake some out. Not happening. I've bought this item three times in an effort to replace a bottle that stopped working. Same problem all three times. I give up. Won't buy again, unless offered in a tube or other container that doesn't malfunction so that most of the product can't be used.

Normally I am a rather positive person, but for this rare occasion I shall be the opposite. This product was used until the entire bottle was empty and there was NO change in my skin what-so-ever. It is NOT smooth, silky, brighter, softer, firmer or more even colored. The product smells absolutely foul. Please save any hard earned money and do not buy this horrible product. I am very cross that I had hopes this product would work and it did not. I would give it a 0 star if I could.

I bought my bottle from QVC and gagged because of FOUL scent the first time I used it. I still struggle. I'm not sure what it is (or isn't) that makes it so raunchy. I thought it might be the retinol, and convinced my self to keep on thru the bottle. As far as effectiveness goes - I have no dryness and it's maintaining my recent treatment with Retinosyn beautifully. It's a thick cream going on and works well around the eyes, too! If you have super sensitive skin, you probably want to start with something that is less than one percent, and then work your way up. But ladies .... THE SMELL. I don't want to think I got a bad batch, but I also don't want to to think that it's supposed to be this smelly. Holy cow. Just be warned that you may get a stinky product. Ha!

I have used this product in the past and I like it but I don’t use it everyday because it dries my skin too much.

I have really really, and I mean really, sensitive skin and this stuff works wonders for me. My skin has never felt or looked better! There was a little tingling at first, but I just followed the directions and I haven't had any problems. I'm only 32, with some pretty good genes too I might add, so I only had a couple of fine lines and just in the span of a week they're all gone. My skin is even and has a nice tone too it. I keep getting mistaken for a 24 year old. My Mom turned me onto this, She's 55 and her skin looks amazing! This stuff and the facial cleansing cream have completely taken over my skin regime, they're all I need. I will definitely keep buying this. I love it! Give it a try and you won't be sorry.

Great item but I realise how lucky I was; I bought it for £45. Within 3 days it had risen to £59.38! Within another few days it has now risen to £63.19. What on earth is going on with Amazon prices and this is not the first time this has happened.?!
