I have a Sangean WR-16. I have had it for over a year using the supplied wire antenna. I got a lot of stations, but wanted to get clearer reception from North Country Public Radio from Canton NY. Although they do have a transmitter closer to me, I had iffy reception. All I want is public radio stations, and I can get both NY stations and Vermont stations here. For the cost of this cute little antenna I gave it a try. I love it. I have it stuck on the top of a picture frame on my wall (using Fun-Tak), and now I get perfect reception on all 4 of my stations. My one wish was to get Montreal CBC, but alas, the range of FM just isn't going to go this far anyway no matter what antenna one uses.This little antenna falls over easily if you just set it somewhere, but Fun-Tak does the job. And I love the length of the wire because I may move this one day! In the Summer I might Fun-Tak it to the window!One thing to remember is that an antenna is NOT going to increase the range of FM radio - if you are outside the range, that's it. BUT, an antenna can make reception much more pinpointed.

I bought this antenna to augment the reception I was getting. The antenna I have is fine, but it was having difficulty receiving the signal from the main station I listen to. I bought a signal splitter and connected it. AMAZING reception.This little antenna surprised me. If you live in an area where it's difficult to get a strong signal!, I definitely recommend getting two antennas and splitting the signal.

Found this antenna worked for Bose wave radio the original Bose wire antenna didn't work this inexpensive metal antenna was only antenna I could find that actually worked now I can get classical and classic rock and jazz and news stations

Worked extremely well

I live just beyond the fringe. Car radio will pick up several stations all with scratch. Home stereo tuner, clock radio, battery powered portable radio, nothing. So, I built a folded dipole from twinlead and electrical tape. Just twisted wire connections, no solder. Duct taped it to a stick to keep it straight. Hung it in a tree. Connected the other end to an old (90'S) RCA tuner, 5 disc CD, dual cassette tape. It will pick up 1 FM station full quieting. So, looking for better signal/more stations I bought this antenna. Connected to the same stereo receiver it will pick up 1 station very weak, not enough signal to stop the search, has to be manually tuned. Junk! If you buy this as many have for apartment/home use, it needs to be stuck to something steel. Put it on a cookie sheet stick the cookie sheet out a window closing the window on the cookie sheet to hold it in place. Better choice is to choose a better antenna.

Pros:We are receiving one station as previously we received zeroEasy to install and did not require any of the adaptersCons:Does not stand on its own pad, the pad is magnetic and I placed on a cylinder steel tooling in order for stability.Would be great if more stations came in, but we are in a slight valley, but my portable CD player with AM & FM radio receives many stations, so perhaps it is the fault of my old Sony Receiver.The cord could be longer in order to place against a window, but this is our layout of the house.

Plug and play with the McIntosh MAC7200 Receiver, no adapter needed. Radio stations come through clear as a bell and sound great. I was looking for a higher end fm antenna to no avail, but apparently there's no need for anything more expensive than this. It's a steal! Two thumbs up!

Great item, perfect for your the job

I am using this FM aerial with a micro hi-f- unit. Eventually I received a good signal after I put the aerial on the window sill. In fact I am getting RDS for Radio 4. My only issue is that it is not very stable; the base could have done with some weighting.
