I honestly didn't have high expectations for this, but I am happy to say it exceeded my expectations. It works great to prevent splatters, the opening is perfect to fit the hand mixer attachments through and movement them around and is easy to clean. I'm very happy with this purchase.

As advertised. I always thought this kind of purchase would be frivolous...take up room in my kitchen...but I took the plunge. Why continue to try to angle my mixer just right & hover things over my bowl to try to block any overspray? I didn't think it would be worth having to store or clean, but I actually love it...and it works beautifully. The see-through feature is a must, and I appreciate the BPA free. Clean up is a breeze, and it is nice to not have to work at being so careful when mixing "happy-to-go-everywhere" liquids. I do feel it is easier to clean than hawk-eyeing your unprotected splatters to wipe up after. When not using, I slide it in behind other items next to a pull-out drawer in my pantry, so it is hidden away. The size/diameter of the plastic covers both small & large bowls (see pics (empty to show clarity of view to bottom of bowl)). Your beaters can only "reach so far" when inserted in the inner flexible part, so don't expect the range to be as beautifully broad as the whole piece at a 90 degree angle. I did angle the beaters around and feel like they did a good job of reaching out. Just plan to do a bit of scraping on the sides of your bowl as you go. (I would do that anyway when mixing.) The material is non-gripping on containers: metal, glass, plastic, stone, ceramic. Be prepared to hold the piece in place as you move the mixer around. In summary: as advertised, easy to store, easy to clean.

Don't think there's anything out there that completely stops the spatters but this certainly helps.

Great product, but the sticker that comes on it is time-consuming and tedious to remove. It took at least 10 minutes and eventually a razor blade.

Bo problems with the products.

I use immersion blender to blend cooked sliced chicken breast in water. It used to splatter everywhere and I had to spend too much time cleaning up after. This shield truly helps solve the problem. Its clear plastic lets me see the content in my pot. The flappy opening allows me to move my immersion blender around the pot. Im not sure if the plastic would melt if placed on a hot pot, so I only used it when my pot has cooled down more.

I love this cover. If you use a hand mixer then buy this. It such a simple idea and stops food from flying all over the place when the mixer is on high speed.

Loved this and saves the mess of splatters all over the counter. You can see through it which is good. Just make sure the bottom is mixed well, as you can’t tell from the top!

This saves SO MUCH MESS!! I love this item so much I hour one for myself, and my two sisters. Love it!!
