Stanbroil Cooking Grate for Weber Q300/Q3000 Series Grill, 2 Pack

The clips go on the sides where the two halves meet they hang on the inside of the grill you will see the clip slot goes there . The grates would be better as a single piece oviously alot of people on here saying it and I agree this grill is small enough a one piece is much easier to work with ... I'm excited I got these finally because the cast iron ones sucked so bad at cleaning and everything stuck to it and was just a pain work with you couldn't use the brush to clean it in between different foods and had to bring it inside and soap it up and take the grease off of it ...just a pain for such a nice grill ...it is good now I'm finally happy with this grill.. and they fit really good as good as it gets

Fit my Weber Q very well. Way nicer than the rusty cast iron original.

I begin reviews with 5 stars and deduct for negatives. I would deduct 1/4 star is that was possible. For me, the SS grate is a lightweight option to the cast iron grate. Yes, the SS grate distributes heat differently than cast iron, I've cooking on both materials for 40 years. I really the cleaning ability of SS. The negative on this grate is that its not flat. Both halves teter-totter a bit across the support pads on the grill. Not a deal breaker by any means. 4.75 stars for me.

Replaced the old cast iron plates with these and am very please with their performance and easy cleanup. Good product.

Good replacement for cast iron grates that came with the grill. These are easier to clean!

OK, I already know my grill is dirty... The grates themselves are sturdy, heavy, and well-built. They seem to take a little longer to heat. The heat distribution is very good. However, the thin sheet metal strips welded under the grates that spread the heat from the burner are peeling off on one side. I've had these for a month and a half (just over the 30 day return period). I tried contacting the seller, but the contact info dumps me into a chat that doesn't get answered. If they fixed their welds (and provided better contact info), these would be great. -------- 05/20/2023 Updated A couple of days after the first review, Stanbroil contacted to offer a refund or replacement. This review upgraded to 4 for great customer service! Hopefully the new one will work better. -------- 07/15/2023 After trying the replacement grates for almost 2 months, they work well and the welds are all still intact. The seller stands behind their product as well. These are great replacement grates!

Why they made it two pieces is ridiculous. It’s not level and the little piece you sit on gets lost all the time when you clean it wish I wouldn’t have bought it.

The item come in a broken box and when opened there was two sets of clip missing.

Perfect fit. Original cast iron grill shed metal bits. Rest of the barbecue is durable only the grill was terrible and flaked iron off. Now I will have this grill forever. Wish I replaced the grill right away. New grill was $550 now my grill is better than new.

Great quality. The stainless steel grates are nice and thick and would not warp easily. So much easier to clean than the standard cast iron grates. Fits perfectly into a Weber Q300 and Q3200.

Just started using it but impressed with the heavy gauge steel used for the rods. There is some sheet steel that covers the area directly over the burners, so stuff doesn't drip on them. Makes it a little hard to clean, but there's no other option really. Compared to the original cast iron grid, this lets a lot more direct heat hit your food, so the grill seems hotter. It won't give you the thick heavy burn lines of the cast iron but you get a lot nicer all-over browning, and faster cooking.

Received these Grills for my new Weber Q2200 and they fit ok but wish they were a little wider where they join in the centre so they would stay lined up, for me I can go in my machine shop and make sleeves from stainless to join them which I have done but I think they should come with a clamp if needed you could join them. As for the cleaning they are not bad the metal on the bottom that’s there to cover the burner is a bit hard to clean but if you pick up one of the little stainless steel brushes that is just a little bigger than a toothbrush it will work good for you. Cooking burgers is another problem I find they do not brown as they did on the cast iron grills that come with the Weber but they cook up good and are nice and juicy. The Grill heats up very quickly and stakes cook up and are nice and juicy with grill marks on them. I would have give it 5 stars but feel they need to supply the required clamp to join them, if you can live without the joiner I would say buy them they are good quality and much easier to clean than the cast iron ones that come with the Weber.
