250G (8.8 Oz) Natural Dried Xinhui Green Orange Ripe Pu'er Chenpi Stuffed Tangerine Puer Tea

I'm not familiar with Pu'er enough to give an information packed review, but from my tasting of this Pu'er tea I'd say it's good and relatively fresh. The taste is strong but not overly bitter and the tea is packaged well. I'd recommend it.

Its fun to watch these open up. Make sure you use BOILING WATER. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! "Hot water" isn't enough! Make sure its FULL BOIL!!! They open up and float around like a little man of war jellyfish lol.One thing I do not like. Everything is in Chinese (?) so theres no English instructions. I could read Spanish instructions if they were there as well, but none of them either. Just Chinese. I couln't figure out about the wrapper at first. I was like "Do i remove the wrapper?" The answer is YES. Both the plastic wrapper AND the round sticker have to be removed. Neither "dissolve" and neither are digestible. Well honestly Im guessing., They didnt look digestible and they looked like plastic. You never know these days. It would have been cool if they had used some sort of wrap that dissolved in boiling water, but no such luck. its also kinda difficult to get the plastic off them, so don't cut yourself!The flavor is great, but not amazing. I've had better. Its not about that though. Its about watching the little "tea bomb" float around like a fish bobber. Thats where the fun is.LOLBuy it because you have never seen anything like it before and buy it for the experience. Gift it to friends if you choose as well. I gave one to a neighbor. Upon opening the bag, that dried orange peel scent hits me in the face immediately. The packaging is very interesting. The loose tea leaves are stuffed inside a very tiny dried orange/mandarin. Very interesting presentation.The instructions on the bag is all in Chinese but it says to discard the first steep because it may taste weird. Put the whole thing inside a cup and pour hot water. How you like the intensity is entirely up to you. I use about half a ball to make one serving of tea because I like my tea a bit lighter. This tea is refreshing and not as bitter as normal black teas with a hint of orange. Great for after a heavy meal. The bag I received have a best by date of January 25, 2024.

Better than expected. One makes a pot of tea. Very satisfying. Thank you
