I am having twins at the end of the month and needed something EASY!! The crib sheet zip on/zip off is so easy to use! I bought a crib pad rather than a "fitted" crib pad for extra crib protection and it they work great together. I simply zip off the the top, pull the pad, wash and then reattach. I have practiced a couple of times because I wanted to make sure it was worth the extra money and lack of colors. It is!! must have for any new parent. a colleague at work recommended this when i was expecting my first. I registered for the "cute" regular ones... the first time i had to get the sheets on a crib mattress, and thought abut having to do that in the middle of the night... i ordered the quickzip and a flat mattress protector (not a fitted one)... Quick Zip is amazing, not just for the middle of the night accidents (my first slept in his crib (converted) till he was almost 3 - and accidents after potty training happened even more often), but even the regular sheet changes to wash them. whether you wash baby's sheets daily, weekly or anything in between, the quickzip sheets make it so easy. this is so "a must have" that this has been a staple gift from me to any new mom. I know this might sound like an advertisement, but i swear that i'm just a working mother of 2 kids... this will save time and cursing under your breath getting that mattress in and out of the crib. QuickZip - you should advertise more broadly - i tell as many people about this as i can.

Unlike most of the reviewers, I didn't order this product for the ease of changing the sheets. I've never found it to be particularly difficult to change a crib sheet. I can only imagine many of these reviewers have bumpers on their cribs and I've seen a few who say that the crib mattress is really heavy. I've never used a bumper and the crib mattresses I've owned were the cheapest we could find and were very lightweight, so changing crib sheets has never struck me as any sort of chore. I'm on my second kid and never gave crib sheets any second thought until my little one decided that the second she gets in the crib she wants to take the crib sheet off. Every. Single. Time. I was worried about it being a strangulation hazard and she would wake up all sweaty from laying against the plastic mattress. I needed a sheet that would completely zip around the mattress and stay on despite her trying to pull it off.The reason I bring this up is that if you are a new mom and trying to figure out what products to buy for your baby, I'd start out with a basic sheet and see how much it bugs you to change them. You can find decent fitted sheets a lot cheaper than this and it may not be worth the price. Do I find it easier to change this sheet than a regular sheet? No. But it might be if you use a bumper.Having said all that, I really do like these sheets. They are very soft and solidly constructed. The price is high for a crib sheet, but they are very nice sheets. The bottom piece was way too big when I first put it on but it shrunk to the perfect size after the first wash.Overall I'm happy with this product. I suggest the mink sheets to go along with this. Very soft!

I absolutely LOVE these sheets! This has made all the difference in changing my kids' sheets, especially when I was pregnant and didn't have the physical ability or the energy to wrestle with a normal crib sheet. I did knock it down one star because I think that the price is a bit crazy, yet here I am with two sets of these sheets for our two cribs because this has become a must have baby item for me. The price makes it hard to purchase these for other moms for baby showers.

We don’t buy this for softness or stretch (that would be a Jersey sheet) but we buy these because they are AMAZIIINNNNGGG. We had the pink ones for our daughters and just bought grey for our son. No more middle of the night sheet changes that you have to pull the WHOLE mattress out for just a quick zip change. Seriously a life saver for a new mom and I will never buy other sheets for a crib. I do wish they came in more colors and patterns because they’re kind of blah but for the ease and convenience I’m okay with what’s available. Buy an extra sheet (not whole set just the top sheet) for those night time changes!

With my first child, she had reflux and spit up ALL THE TIME, plus she blew out her diaper almost every morning (no tricks worked to stop the blow outs, a negative to her awesome sleep habits). I HATED changing the sheets on her crib with the standard sheets. I used the method of layers the sheets: mattress, mattress pad, sheet, waterproof liner, sheet, waterproof liner, sheet. It worked, but I was still washing everything twice a week and remaking the crib.For my second child I wanted something easier and found these. The price tag was hefty, but I used gift card received and my registry completion discount to purchase them to defray the cost, and they are AMAZING. Of course this baby hardly ever spits up and never blows out his diaper, so I didn't need them for the constant bedding changes, but I still LOVE these and HIGHLY recommend them to each family I hear is expecting. These are so easy to change! I still put the waterproof pad underneath the top sheet so I don't have to mess with changing the mattress pad cover, but being able to zip off the old sheet and quickly zip on the new sheet is so incredibly easy and awesome, I actually LIKE changing his sheets!Now if only they could get a license with Disney and manufacture some princess sheets for a full bed that would just make me even happier (hint, hint!)
